In this 25-minute lower body workout flow, we'll do a sequence of sliding exercises into mat-based bodyweight exercises. You do the entire sequence on the right, rest, and then repeat on the left.
Big emphasis on the posterior musculature and mobilizing and strengthening the hip joint.
WORKOUT BREAKDOWN
-Sliding Lunge Series
-Back lunge to deadlift
-Knee slides in low lunge
-Split lunge pulses
-Tabletop Series
-Hip circles
-Donkey kick pulses
-Hydrant swivels
-Hydrant pulses
-Side Leg Series
-Leg lift
-Internal rotation
-Internal to external
-Pulse internal
As with all workouts, make sure to warm up beforehand. I have a few on my channel:

Yikes, this was super effective at targeting some of those seldom-focused-on muscles. Loved it, and plan to do this workout regularly, until I can keep up and complete all the reps! I can see where my muscle weaknesses are 😆🔥

Run Fit Mama I’m not sure you are supposed to work out your hips if you are pregnant. Those muscles are softening to give birth and exercising them may do damage. It’s what I heard when I was pregnant. 🤷🏻‍♀️
