SOAD wins I love both, but haven’t got into slipknot as much as I have with SOAD, still haven’t finished on slipknot album, but I listened to all of the syndrome of a down songs, some of two of Serj’s songs and a little of SCARS on Broadway, but Daron’s riffs are amazing as hell and unique, after all he also writes the songs.

of course SOAD, the music variety is insane. Rhythm, melody, breakdowns, different vocals, humor, lyrics. Serj was really good when he could scram, Corey has a great scream, and the Slipknot is a solid commercial band, with some great songs.

What the fuck?!? Yall really wanna compare RATM to SOAD? bruh what the fuck.. RATM is so trash, its not even metal they got 2 3 riffs that are recognizable to the world unlike SOAD where people know every single song from every single album released.. RATM is trash, no hate upon Tom Morello, its just SHALLOW and boring RAP METAL (cringey ass type as well if it aint Slipknot..) Daron's riffs are way way more unique unlike Morello's. Im sorry but those two cant even be comperable. RATM is fucking trash bruh 😑🤦🏻‍♂️

Arthur Morgan 1.) I’m sure that there are people who know every song off of every RATM album released. 2.) While I personally enjoy Daron’s guitar playing more, Tom’s style is very experimental and should not be undermined. 3.) I know people who have only ever heard of “Chop Suey!” but could name you 3 RATM songs from the radio. 4.) I’m not sure I would classify them as just “Rap Metal” as they had other influences like hip hop or funk. While I agree that they should not be compared, it’s not just because one is objectively better than the other. I think that the style of music differs too much between RATM and SOAD to be comparable. Sure, you could classify them both under the broad umbrella of “Alternative Metal”, but that’s too broad of a category to compare the two simply based off of that.

You know, because it's popular, and bands get to make more music because they are popular. I like almost every System song, but I really enjoy the "mainstream" songs like BYOB.
