[Slow Winter Morning Routine I Mindful Habits I Simple Living I Silent Vlog ]
Welcome to my slow winter morning routine video.
A few things have happened since I posted my fall morning routine video a few weeks ago.
I returned to my hometown to take care of my mom, which means I live far away from my husband.
Reminds me a little of when we were in a long-distance relationship.
I'm glad those days are over.
But we have to get used to living like this again for a while until my mom gets better.
I finally settled into my “new house,” so I started incorporating some of my mindful habits into my routine.
TIMESTAMPS:
0:00 - Intro
0:21 - 7 am stretch, water and breakfast
3:53 - 8 am Getting sunlight
4:13 - 8:30 am Get work done
4:44 - 10:30 am Exercise
6:59 - 12 Get ready and make lunch
I start my day around 7 a.m., stretch, drink water, and put on my workout clothes right away.
Once I'm ready, I go downstairs to prepare breakfast.
Today I'm going to prepare a spinach omelet for me and my mom.
But first I prepare a glass of celery juice.
I've read that this helps my tummy gently wake up and boosts my body's detoxification process.
I've been doing this for over two years and feel great!
I washed the celery ahead of time, so it's ready when you need it.
I'm also making tea for myself and coffee for my mom.
Breakfast is an important part of my day and I use it to connect with myself while I cook and eat.
When I worked in a company, I used to get rashes in the morning and barely enjoyed breakfast.
Now that I have more time, I enjoy every second.
Once I'm done, I head out to soak up the sunlight before 9 am.
Sometimes I go for a walk, but this area is not very walkable, so I enjoy the sunlight from the backyard.
At this time of day, I work on something. That includes planning and editing videos, or writing and adding new articles to my website.
I get more done during these two hours than the rest of the day.
Around 11 am I make my bed and get ready to exercise.
I always exercise at home and use exercise programs that I find on KZfaq.
Following a plan allows me to be more consistent and waste less time because I don't have to choose a new routine every day.
Today I train my chest, back, and arms. It was a challenging workout, but I was able to finish it.
After working out, I shower and do my skincare routine which includes two important things: moisturizer and sunscreen.
If there's one piece of advice I can give to 20-year-old girls, it's to start wearing sunscreen every day, even when it's cloudy outside.
Once that's ready, it's time to prepare lunch.
Today I cooked steak and made a small salad.

Hello! That bag was a gift, so I don't know the reference. But it's a Samsonite leather backpack :) It's great when I travel with my laptop.
