During the second game you can drink juice (powders) even while at max stacks when you have the perk that lets you heal when you drink them like NL did

I'm one of the people catching up with the vids and i don't regret it. It's super fun to watch even when you at first have no idea what's going on. Great game and it's super unique in terms of artwork in this genre especially. I really hope more people give this game the chance it deserves

That first death he got hit for 390 with that tackle. I feel like he never hits for that much with his abilities. What am I missing?

They're stacking a few things. They probably have, at that stage, two or three arm powders, and the tackle is a really hard hitting move. You get a new perk for dealing damage periodically, and she had a perk that deals more damage if she recently got knocked down. The tackle, I believe, is something like the fourth hardest hitting move in the game. Super Throw -> Diamond Crusher -> atomic punch -> javelin tackle

you can get up dodge + attack and it still does get up attack like a cyclone.

aight, thing thing about going super. it doesn't change any of the basic interactions. if you've lost the r-p-s against someone the last two or three times, you aren't going to suddenly start winning them because you're in super. And in fact, going super is even more of a bad idea, because now you're probably at half heath and could be easily KO'd

imo it's actually good if you play around it. More stamina means safer plays for recovery (dodges out) and better chase late game, still not great but maxing out stats can be a pain sometimes

I feel bad you lost to that dude spamming unblockables, but this is the fighting game way as well. The number of times I’ve lost to a guy in Guilty Gear Strive where I’m screaming, “HES JUST DOING THIS ONE MOVE JUST WATCH THAT ONE MOVE CMON,” is too damn high. And this is on Celestial Floor which is the highest floor you can be on. It works even better because you’re expecting them to adapt as all good players do. No, I’ll just keep spamming the move even though you punished it and then you don’t expect it because WHY WOULD THEY DO THE SAME THING THAT I JUST DESTROYED THEM FOR… Anyway… lol

English is not my first language, can anybody please explain why does NL keep saying ''them'' when referring to a single individual? He's the first person I've noticed speaking this way

@@jeydonfal1 i think maybe he has gotten used to using a gender neutral pronoun when talking about another player in a video game that he doesn't know the gender of (because a lot of guys choose girl characters in video games for example, and vice versa)

Because they/them is a very common way to refer to someone who you do not know the gender of. It isn't exclusively used for multiple people and is much less cumbersome to say than constantly saying him or her/he or she every time you talk about someone you don't know.

I couldn't watch live cuz he's old and can't read opponents which is all fighting games are, and then a chatter says sum true that upsets him bcs he got bodied by a grab spammer first match and then tries to make a joke out of the true chatter probably getting +2s bcs the rest of the chat is dick riding sheep 💀 literally read it all instantly and that's why I rarely watch him live anymore, I'd just be banned for speaking truth that upsets people 😭💀
