FILM DESCRIPTION:
Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he's been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes' honor and allegiance will be tested -- even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him.

I actually really enjoyed this movie. Huge GI Joe fan. I loved Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, best part of the movie by far. I didn't like what they did with Snake Eyes, he was kind of an irredeemable jerk and Storm Shadow has every right to hate him.

They could have make Snake Eyes vow not to speak again at the end since he almost caused nearly all of Arashikage clan member to die and Storm Shadow losing his reputation, due to the betrayal.

This movie wasn't anywhere near as good as I thought it would be. It made me root for Storm Shadow more than Snake Eyes and it didn't do enough to establish it was in the GI Joe universe. I hope the next movie they make, if they do, does it so much better

I’m soooo confused because in the second GI Joe movie there is a flashback to when snakes eyes and storm shadow were really young about who killed the master and what not which is a different story line to how they meet and everything in this movie. If anyone understands what I’m talking about.

@@DANCERcow I mean... its not really a cop out though. It makes sense that they would reboot the timeline/universe. The Vietnam War is 46 years ago now. Anyone who served in it would at the very least be around 62. So the only options are to have Snake Eyes be really old, avoid setting things in present day, or reboot the backstory.
