I am having difficulty in packing up the RV1. When folding in part A then part B at end of set down it feels like a lot of strain is being put on the internal frame pivot points, the longer awning is bulkier than my RV3 which makes it difficult to fold in A&B legs plus the awning roll both ends need to bend 180 degrease with the legs. What am I doing wrong? or is this normal? The RV3 legs fold away much easier. Cheers

I have an RV3 and an RV1 and when set up peaked the difference in usable awning space/headroom between a RV1 and RV3 is hardly noticeable. Even though the actual RV1 tent is much lower you can easily walk in and out of the awning from front or sides without crouching or bending, you just need to crouch down a bit getting in or out of the tent. The beauty of this tent for me is transporting it, I can fit the RV1 inside my hatchback where as my RV3 needs to be out on the roof rack.

Prolly why it's called an Oztent..! lol tbh They are respected down here. ( As is Snowys. ) Don't be afraid to pay the freight

Notice the EDIT at the point he has to put the tent back IN the bag. This in reality is a 5 minuet nightmare of try and retry with a lot of expletives. (It's very important to fold things as tightly as possible to get it back in, AND IF YOU FOLD IN B FIRST don't even try)

Good point, Ian... 'A' first! And yes, first few attempts will be a bit of wrestle - but now that Ben has filmed every Oztent Tent, it's like clockwork - first go! Laine :)

@@SnowysOutdoors To put any oztent back in the bag you need to put the bag over the packed tent and flip it to do up zips easy peasy

@@dentray yep, great advice, dentray. We shot these videos a while ago and I've since evolved to putting the bag over the tent then rolling it over to do the zip up. ~ Ben
