2 ай бұрынLate to the party, as usual, but tardiness aside. This was the DLC pack that I was most looking forward to since they revealed it in the DLC roadmap. The best thing yet is that it would all be free of charge! My biggest concern for this was if this was going to outright replace the ending or if they were going to do something new. In addition, wondering how they would handle each of the playable characters in the Boost Formula since this would mark their official debut.
Well, we didn't have to wait too long to find out.

All I'm going to say is that even though it has problems, I still really enjoyed it and for me at least it was one of the best Sonic experiences that I had for a while. You can tell that even if they didn't have a lot of time, they still wanted to make the best product with what they had. The final fight was the most Shonen/Anime-esk thing that I witnessed with Sonic and I loved it. I really wanted to talk about it more, but I didn't want to write an 1 hour long essay xd. Also big 👍 for the video, I really enjoyed it !

Oh yeah, this is super close to what Sonic Team was aiming for when they decided on the "open zone" concept. I just think it's important we let them know what to refine and what our problems were jn addition to what they did excellently so when the sequel eventually comes around (now I guess LMAO) they can make a better game. But problems aside this was super fun to me until we got to the towers LOL but I really did until that. They made it fun to just run around and enjoy myself.

I feel like they could have kept all of the original final boss scenes in the the dlc. It could have played like this: - Sonic fights Supreme - The End arrives - Sage possesses Supreme and joins Sonic to continue the fight in space - The End beats them and sends them back down to the ground - Sage is forced out of Supreme as The End takes control - Then the dlc version of the fight plays out This way, Sonic takes time to build up his strength to use his new form, while The End also gets their monologue and nearly wins mid-fight. And it gives even more reason for Sonic to go all out with the cyber corruption.
