Season 2 passes this season in every way possible. In the back 4 eps, 2 of them are some of the greatest pieces of television I've ever seen

That JAW/Carmy monologue & that last shot of Mikey always gets to me. When you get to S2 all the dots get connected.

I dont know if you noticed but episode 7 was all in one take (or atleast was shot and edited to look that way)

In the episode where the fuse blows Carmy tells Marcus about a time in a restaurant where he set a stove on fire. He said he had a moment where he thought about how he could just let it burn and let the whole place burn down and take all his stress and shit with it, but then he got past that and put it out. I've always interpreted the scene in this episode as Carmy not getting past that moment. He's at the point where it feels like it would be better for it to burn than to keep going.

I'll always find it impressive they did episode seven of the first season in a single take.
