iSCAN's SOD (Support On Demand) connects your shop to vehicle make experts remotely. These experts can be leveraged to keep work in-house when coding or programming is needed. All available through a remote connection via your iSCAN device.
California Autohaus specializes in European vehicles, with Land Rover being one of their most common makes to be serviced there. In this video, Ben describes how a lot of his customers also have Domestic and Asian vehicles and they service them as well.
Recently a customer brought in a Cadillac Escalade with a malfunctioning instrument cluster (complete failure and multiple warning lights ON). Not as familiar with these vehicle, Ben placed an SOD (Support On Demand) request and was connected to Patrick.
When sending the request, Ben was able to attach vehicle reports to the request so Patrick could develop a test plan before reaching back out to Ben. They worked through a module test together and found one faulty. Once the diagnosis and replacement of the faulty module was complete, programming was required. Patrick performed the programming remotely by accessing Ben's iSCAN device.
