Yes, and it works by displacing oxygen. That’s why it makes people silly. It is literally cutting off the air supply to the brain, like the “choking game.” I abused inhalants when I was a kid...all the neighborhood kids did it. Most of us didn’t even think we were doing drugs. It was just common household objects. The familiarity made them seem safe. Everybody knew someone who I ended up with severe brain damage, etc.

I’m glad that she did this. I got addicted to cc. I was in my early 20’s and I had a kid and I completed my masters. I was a new military wife and I had felt so alone, depressed, overwhelmed and I ended up trying this in a company server room bc I was in tech. It took my 4 rehab trips, lost 2 jobs, totaled 3 cars, and was a mess. In 2014 I got clean. But then relapsed two more times between then and 2019. This stuff doesn’t get recognition but you have to get tired of it. The addiction, the sick feeling when you wake, the urinating on yourself, the throwing up of stomach fluid bc you don’t eat bc nothing tastes right. I stole from Walmart at one point. I almost hit a car. I did a lot of stupid shit when this was around and it’s easily available and short trip to Walmart and you have it… I’m so glad I’m off of it
