I like chilli con carne. I always eat it when it’s winter. My recipe is simple but it’s good also. I sauté my beef first and remove the fat. Then cook the onions,garlic. Green peppers, jalapeño, celery, chilli bean, kidney beans. Beef stock. Cumin, tomato paste, garlic powder, chilli powder. And simmer it for two hours. Constantly look for it and stir every 10 mins.

When we cook at home, we also start with the meat before adding garlic and onions... sometimes there is no need to put additional cooking oil as the vegies cook in the meat fat. I think it tastes better that way
