i’d prefer meal planning and food purchases for the van-i feel like that can apply to multiple small spaces, not just van life, and as semesters continue to roll on across america, a lot of students are finding our apartment diets...lacking lol. i love your videos and appreciate the underlying principles behind van life!

That's tough. I think meal planning for next week and then do the maintenance costs the week after if you haven't already gotten something lined up. You are phenomenal by the way.

if you don't mind can you open up a little bit more about how your family doesn't really support you choosing van life?

That’s what I like about this lifestyle... it requires you to be more mindful and intentional with what you bring into your life. My thoughts on the storage unit are that at $100 a month you could replace a lot of the items in there if you needed to. A hundred dollars a month really adds up over time. Have you considered installing a bike rack on the back of your van for that bike? As for tax documents and other paperwork you could scan those items onto a hard drive to further downsize & consolidate. Photographs & memorabilia can also be scanned & saved on a hard drive. Of course this depends on your personal comfort level with doing that. Some people are afraid that the hard drive will become corrupt or damaged and that they will lose everything. However, if a fire broke out in your storage unit you could lose everything anyway. What I did was scanned everything and saved them on two separate USB drives. One remains in my RV and the other I carry in my purse. That way if something ever happened to my RV I would still have the drive in my purse or vice versa.

Oh my goodness!!! I totally know what you mean by staying in pajamas, wearing t-shirts and so on. Lord have mercy on me, I have over 200 pair of shoes, I have a closet designated just for my handbags just to name a few things. I want to flip an RV, I pray the one I recently looked at will come through at the right price. I'm very creative and I know I can do this! I'm tired of stuff, I want to trade in stuff for travels and memories. Downsizing will be my greatest challenge, it was meant for me to see this video. Thank you! #planMeals

Another great video, Liz. One thing I will say to all women is: Question the definition of "beauty", "feminity" and similar terms. It's *not* what's popularized in culture. What's on the inside is so much more important than appearance. What's truly *attractive* is a woman who's comfortable with who she is/in her own skin. A great song out now is "Costume Party" by Lauren Duski. As for next week's topic: I'd love to see a piece on your nutritional lifestyle (I hesitate to call it a diet, or plan, or regimen). I was vegan from 2012 until I sold my house and went full-time in my box truck conversion a year ago this month, and have sort of struggled with eating the best since then.

Hi Liz! I’ve been a silent viewer for some of your videos. Your wardrobe is definitely different than I expected. Extensive for a vanlifer! And I LOVE it. Your style is great!!! Converting a van is a plan of mine after I finish school... I enjoy and am very adamant about having clothes that make me feel good as well. Frankly, I wonder how I can downsize my wardrobe into something so small. Your tour showed me that it doesn’t need to be so teeny tiny! Definitely made it less intimidating... Hopefully I can give YOU a tour of my vanlife wardrobe once I start vanlife.

Nicely done. I did the same thing when I lived in my Camper van, kept a storage unit. It's so true, going in there was like picking out new stuff. Those were some good tips for weight control. I live in stretch right now and needed some wardrobe ideas to help me clean out my closet. FOOD PLEASE
