At first Shabani and his daughter Annie were playing nicely, but then Annie got angry with Shabani and chased him around. Other gorillas who saw this also chased Shabani.
In particular, Nene, the oldest female gorilla in Japan, who had been napping until then, started screaming and chasing Shabani as soon as she heard his granddaughter Annie's cries.
Shabani's family is very hilarious.

Did anyone notice that Ai was the FIRST to run out and see why Annie was screaming 😱?? That makes me feel so much better for Ai & Annie. That show’s me that Ai does love her little Annie after all and everything.. And Shabani the big kid he is got the whole family troop to chase him and he was most definitely in his happy place.. LOL if you look very closely you can see his smile 😃 from ear to ear 😂😂❤❤❤.

Woah I didn't expect the whole group to chase Shabani, normally Annie just follows but now with the intention of chasing Shabani. Maybe he bit her too hard or stole her food?

Yup, i have witnessed this before in a previous troop, with the growing younger male becoming silverback he is also becoming the new leader of this group, kiyo with the support of the females ,kiyos new wives, will make sure to let shabani know that kiyo is the new alpha and will constantly defend kiyo chasing off shabani and possibly attacking him.

@@vasilisaivanova8756 They are gorillas, not humans, and Nene isn't "evil." Even in the wild, incest occurs if there aren't enough, or any, troops around with available mates. Besides, Shabani nipped Annie and got the whole family to chase him. He was an Alpha in Heaven.

Whenever silverbacks are in trouble, a gorilla will chase them and sometimes the whole family or other members of the troop will jump in to support or back up the gorilla chasing the silverback. I think they do it because the silverback is so much larger that they feel safer in numbers. It's more like if you'll have my back when this happens then I'll have yours.

I feel so bad about these gorillas living conditions. So poor. There is no roaming room they are so confined to an extremely small area. What is wrong with these people? How can this be allowed. Animal activists need to step up and do something about the living conditions. This is hard to watch. I've watched enough of this horrible video I am out of here. 😢😢😢😢😢
