Yeah, they do a fantastic job in keeping everything together. They are a royal pain to install, though. It would be nice if they made them like the Carrera clips that just slide and lock. I purchased about 200 clips from RC Superstore a few months ago, and soon afterward I noticed people saying they were out of stock everywhere. They seem to be back in stock now, but something to keep in mind if you're interested.

Thank you so much! I try to stay around14v, although the old t-jets need much more. When the kids or newcomers are on the track, I keep them around 11v or so, and give them chassis that really stick, such as Bulldog SRT, Tyco 440x2, Lifelike M, and Racemasters AFX. I let them access the individual power themselves for the first time, and they were pushing the envelope but realized their limits. I'm looking forward to the time where I can teach them how to fine tune their own controllers.

​@All-ScaleSlotCars I totally get the grandkid thing. I have trouble even explaining to adults that the controllers have a dial which says faster and slower and nothing could be further from the truth. It should say control and and acceleration.( they still crank it up when I'm not looking) Hahah. Also, when I installed the viasue timing system, it went from a toy to a challenging game for adults. This may be going too far but I test all my cars on each lane and write down the voltage and ohms (controller setting) in a notebook so we can switch lanes quickly to get them in the ballpark before each leg of a round robin race. I have too much time on my hands.

@@zedsodead I think that's fantastic how you test and prepare your controllers for the best possible experience! A timing system for this track is in my near future. I'm holding off a bit for hopefully some new dazzling state of the art product to arrive. If that doesn't happen, I think I'll be content with the Viasue, but I don't want to invest in it until it feels like an absolute necessity, and that might come sooner than later, Lol! Is there anything about the Viasue system that you don't like or wish they could improve?

​@@All-ScaleSlotCarsI'm just impressed how versatile it is. You can run just about any kind of race you can think of. I have set up a race that lets every one run 50 laps in each lane. I've Assigned points for races won in each lane, laps led in each lane, fastest lap for each lane and then accumulated all four lane races to reveal the winner. Iwas able to change the colors on the screen to match the colors of the lanes and each of my four controllers. It's really quite mind blowing to this 60 year old. If I had this when I was a kid I would've never left the basement. Did I mention that you can rotate in any number of drivers? It's nuts.

@@zedsodead Wow! I did not realized it was so in depth! I've never really delved into it, but whenever I see it on a video, it just seemed to be pretty basic. Now that you've opened my eyes to all that it can do, I will be adding this to really enhance the experience. Thank you!
