I hope you will get well, i feel really sorry about your asthma (i've heard that sometimes asthma or allergies might leave you during adolescent phase so lets hope for that). nfounder the way I see it, it just shows the contrast between "poor" people and the big city/technology. The kids are in either slums or landfills, forced to work to survive, and look at the launch of a space ship, something they will most likely never achieve or come close to, and that's so far away and different from their own world.

It’s a Welsh folk song Ar lan y môr (Beside the Sea). The line you’re thinking sounds like My heart is so small is actually “mae carreg wastad” (the stones lie scattered). Son Lux wrote some music for a project I was part of in Wales around 2011, which sampled this same song, so I guess that’s where he got the inspiration here...

It's supposed to be a metaphor. You can interpret it the way you want, but it implies a drowning (maybe in darkness) or a lonliness

I interpreted it as losing memories of a particular person to the see of memories, as time passes we tend to forget what our dearest love ones or childhood friends or lovers looked like, I believe this song is about a loved one who has passed on.
