I think the "problem" with Lana (Evil Queen) was that they wrote her song in a very low register, much lower than what would be natural/comfortable for her (if you compare her solo song with her line in the final song, where she sings in a much higher register, you can definitely hear the difference), and that's why she sounds strained and like she's struggling. She was probably struggling a bit to sing so low for so long...

I love the songs done by The Evil Queen and Hook, as well as the song performed after the wedding ceremony. What made me laugh in this episode is what Rumpelstiltskin said to the queen: "Sorry Dearie, you think The Dark One sings? I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork." Fun fact: Ginnifer Goodwin, who played Snow White, actually hates musicals in real life.

Killian/ Hook is actually played by Irish actor Colin O'Donoghue. Also, yes, he and Emma are together. They were engaged and got married in this episode. They now have a daughter named Hope.

Regina Mills is one of the best characters in modern TV history And Zelena (the redhead) and Regina (dark haired girl) aren’t together but telling how they’re connected would be spoilery but yeah no, not together lol. If you listen to the red heads song again you can figure how how they’re connected though

Snow and David are young because of the curse from the first season that stopped time, but Emma grew up where time was still moving. Also, I just like mentioning how cute it is that Snow White and the prince are married in real life. 💛

Josh Dallas who plays Prince Charming has actual been in musicals in the beginning of his career, which is why his voice is so good! Love this reaction! Emma and Killian/ Hook were always my two favorite characters, separately and as a couple. I have been cosplaying for six years and became known for cosplaying Emma. She's a character that means a lot to me. I relate to her a lot. I also adore her and Killian 's relationship. They're so sweet together and worked hard to get together.

You will love Once Upon a Time!! It has this beautiful way of adapting the fairytale characters in such way that can come as surprising. Some twists are actually quite good and some foreshadowing can stay in the air for seasons before being revealed. Also, you will see that the episodes tell two or three different stories happening in parallel with one another, with one happening at the present and the others normally in the past and they being somewhat related.

Zelena's (Wicked Witch of the West) song is my favourite from the musical episode. The whole episode was fantastic, and I could listen to all the songs all day

OUAT is such a good show. I love how they combined all the fairy tales together in such creative ways (i.e. the Evil Queen & Wicked Witch are sisters, Rumpelstiltskin in the "croc" that took Captain Hook's hand, Hook ends up with Snow White & Prince Charming's daughter, etc).

So, just a heads up if you decide to start watching "Once Upon A Time" on a regular basis.... This show is HEAVILY serialized and is very difficult to jump into. For example, you were asking why Emma was the same age as her parents..... Emma is the same age as Snow and Charming because the two of them have been frozen in time for the past 28 years. The Dark Curse banishes everyone to "a land without magic," causes them forget who they were in The Enchanted Forest, and they just go about their daily business in a sort of daze forever, never realizing that they're not aging. Because Emma escaped the curse as a baby, she aged normally until she was reunited with Snow and Charming as an adult.

It's so fun seeing you react to one of the later episodes when not knowing the characters. I hope you have a great time watching OUAT! It can be ridiculous at times, but it's so much fun and it has some great writing, teists and character developments (Regina, my love). I love the musical episodes songs BECAUSE they are cheesy and not that serious. Snow and Charming sounds great together, Hook's song is ridiculous but so much fun, and Zelena's grows on me but I didn't like it at first, I thought the style wasn't fitting. But it's hilarious. Yes, I would have loved for them to give Regina a song that fits her better, but her low voice is hot and she just goes for it so it's awesome anyway. Emma's song gives me actual chills even listening to it now, it's so good!!! And it's her theme through out the show!

Jennifer Morrison, who played Emma, was ill during season 6. That's why she looked tired. She was also depressed and wanted to go home, as the show was filmed in Canada and she lives in California and New York, where she has family. The actors lived in Vancouver for all the years they filmed the show. Oh, also, the "bad lady" is the Black Fairy, and is Rumplestiltskin 's mother. His father is Peter Pan.. though his real name is Malcolm, a man that abandoned his son for enteral youth. The Black Fairy and Emma were destined to fight during the final battle, where she was fated to die. Don't worry, Emma survives and gets to go on with her life, enjoying a more normal life, happily married to Killian/ Hook, who is now also her deputy. She became pregnant not long after and they're a family. It's really sweet and perfect considering everything Emma had been through. I highly recommend watching the entire series, though the last season (season 7) was basically a horribly written and horribly exicuted spin off that doesn't connect with the rest of the series/ disregards the past six seasons, doesn't make any sense, and lacks the charm, magic, and humor the show had. Very few enjoyed it. I don't recommend it. The rest of the series is incredible though.

Regina and Zelena are half sisters. Not lovers. They were once foes but became very close. And the reason why Emma's parents are so young, because they were stuck in Storybrooke for 28 years and never aged a day due to Regina's curse as the Evil Queen where she sent them to the real world. Kind of like a groundhog day kind of thing where every day is the same and they're stuck in time and lost their past memories. Emma was an orphan all those years in the real world and didn't know about her parents and where she came from until after her 28th birthday and went to Storybrooke and broke the curse. It will all make sense if you watched from the beginning of the show. And all the fairytale scenes are from their past lives before the curse took place. Every thing is Storybrooke is in the presence.

“Or is it not that kind of show do they not allow that?” I was laughing so hard (because they aren’t together but I don’t want to spoil why they aren’t together) and then this sentence hit me like a ton of bricks because so many audience members of this show were more okay with their children seeing violence and death than two women kissing and it broke me a little bit. A lot of this fandom and the discourse around it made me so depressed, and this series and it’s fandom is the reason I actually tend to avoid talking with other people about shows or books anymore. There were even death threats and everything in the fandom. It was really tragic and anxiety inducing.

So the versions of the characters in the fairy tale setting are from the past when they were in their fairy tale. When they were put in our world they didn't age for a long time, which is why Snow and Charming's daughter are the same age. It's confusing if you haven't watched the show lol.

There’s a running joke that everyone is related in Once Upon a Time.

It's because they have been in a curse for a long time while Emma as been in the real world growing up in an orphanage. They she came to storybrook after her son Henry found her, who she gave up for adoption when she was younger. She broke the curse and everyone remember everything. It was a really good show. I loved it!

The musical episode of Once Upon a Time is irrevocably my favorite out of every show that isn't a musical series. The cast really blew expectations out of the water with their songs...all while preparing to witness Emma and Killian walk down the aisle. FUN FACT: Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White) actually HATES musicals
