While there isn't to many drastic changes, this demo did seriously improve performance on my Machine, so this playthrough is alot higher quality and higher fps than the last version. I'll list some of the biggest changes I found. - Crisis City and Kingdom Valley has E3 music (when toggled in the menu, it's on for this video.) - Sonic seems a tad slower, especially in the boarding and mach speed section. - Tails' Wave Ocean has a different starting area - Sonic's vine animation is a little different. - I show off all the gems and test stage this time - I also tried to take paths I don't see used to often, overall this is just a better playthrough than last time, so hope you enjoy. - Oh, ChaosX, I still found a way to use the purple gem, sky gem glitch. :)

Sometimes I wonder if Sonic 06 could've been one of the best 3d sonic games if they decided to take more time to polish it

Man I love this fangame. It doesn't even feel like a fangame. This is the most professional looking and fun fangame I've ever seen. I have so much fun with this. This is man is absolutely incredible. So weird to see any version of 06 that functions properly, but does help you realize, if 06 had been functioning and polished up, it could have been the best adventure style game gameplay-wise. Story-wise, it'd still be a mess without several rewrites. But it had so much missed potential on the gameplay front.

Man, that Tails stage actually looks really fun, now that he clearly handles a lot better and has all those new tricks like the Tail Attacks and more controllable flight. Low-key hoping Knuckles gets a level as well though, that'd really show off how much he's been improved as well!

Wow you are tearing these levels up. Awesome playthrough. To be honest I like and prefer this to SA1 and SA2 because it's everything I enjoy in a level and from each character. The speed and momentum, the useful powerups, the voice acting, the music, the great level design, and the visuals. If this was an official thing, I would see it as Sonic at his best in adventure style and in 3d. Hoepfully more people get to enjoy this amazing project. Thanks, ChaosX. I'm really liking how Sonic's much more controllable in the Mach Speed/Snowboard sections with the slight speed decrease; but in all honesty, they did take _a little_ too much away from his running speed in the main game, looking back on it. The aforementioned two being slower is good, and the game still looks phenomenal, but I think Sonic being able to go a bit faster by default (somewhere in the ballpark of his speed in the _Sonic Adventure_ games, maybe?) would be a nice thing to consider!

I really like how the Developer aimed to make it adventure styled.

I like that Chaos fixed all the small errors and inconsistencies like Sonic saying "those enemies" when there was only 1 enemy.

I'm consistently impressed with how amazing this remake is. Nevermind the fact that it looks and sounds exactly like the original trainwreck, it looks fun as hell and infinitely more playable than the original. But when the Silver section came up at 27:21, and I saw the improved mobility, speed, acceleration and animations, I just knew. If the devs complete this shit, it'll be the greatest remake ever made, and I sincerely hope that Sega does the right thing. I'm still hurt with the way they shut down the Streets of Rage Remake guys, who worked on that project for 8 years, only to be screwed over by Sega the day it was finished. I hope these guys are allowed to grow, and that Sega treats them with respect like they did to the Sonic Mania guys. Anyway. As great as this remake can be, just copying it 1:1, fixing the brokenness and bad controls won't save it completely. It'll be at least playable, but there are many more problems with the game, like how you're forced to walk around the hub areas for long stretches of time without any shortcuts or fast travel, the tedious side missions, being forced to buy upgrades instead of having them integrated into the world (you know, like Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 did), and many idiotic scripted sequences that go on for too long. And that's just technical and level design issues. Let's not forget that the story is worthless, the voice acting is terrible (worse than SA1's), and the characters talk way too much during stages, and about a million other things wrong with the game.

It’s so satisfying watching the demo because how a lot corrections that had been and the extra things like the cutscene at the start of crisis city. I’m changing my mind on upgrading on getting Xbox series X and just getting a pc. Just by seeing what one person could turn something bad to good is crazy.

Can someone help? So i want to play this but my computer lags at this. I have a intel i5 nvidia geforce 8gbram. But for somereason it lags around 20-29/30fps. My computer can play sonic generations at 60fps with out much issue at 1280x720 resolution
