Even for kids show standards, this is really awsome. The jokes arent all bad as majority can hit, the animation looks magnifico, and the voices are great and this Netflix cast is nailing it. I cant wait for future episodes and see this one without the blue background. I can tell sonic prime is probably going to be the best sonic show (for me at least)

I love how the Roblox Sonic game gives a bit of an interactive experience as we watched the show. For example: the part were Sonic asks, "Where are my rings", the game throws rings at the audience Here's the timestamp 13:31

Explanation of what’s going on with Shadow (at least my theory): Shadow basically attempts to stop Sonic from destroying the gem and shattering the universes, seeing him in New Yolk City. The reason Sonic was late is because he had to fight Shadow, which we will likely see next episode. I wanna say time travel is involved but I’m not sure.

The VA work really give off emotion Nine really is that nephew who will kick you in the leg for going to far but still feels good around you and Sonic clearly is trying to match what people see he can be an do that by growing through the series

Deven Mack did a great job voicing Sonic in this new series. I was very impressed! I can't wait to hear more of his voice in the upcoming episodes and I'm intrigued to see what's happening next after Shadow punches Sonic.

What I really loved about this premier on Roblox was that some of the effects that happens on screen happen in the server as well! It’s really cool!

18:00 Yes it did The Crystal shattering for the first time also had an effect but you're too close to the screen so you didn't see it I haven't watched far into he video yet so Idk if you noticed but Tails getting shot with a Laser was also shown in Roblox, and I think there was also a moment where Rings popped out if nowhere when Sonic said "rings"

I think this was a solid first episode. I really like the cast, along with the characterization for all the characters. The Egg Council and the world-building around their dictatorial control over New Yoke City is pretty nice as well. The only issue I have with the episode is its pacing and how it seems rushed at points. The constant switching between events before and after the destruction of the Paradox Prism makes the storytelling seem disorganized to me. All in all though, it's pretty good and I'm already excited for the next episode.

Weird take: I honestly wonder how the current game cast would have sounded in all this lol. This was fantastic. And I love what the show is doing! Current cast is fantastic and I can't wait to see what they do with the shatterverse!

Got up and watched this at 10 this morning. I love how the code to Tails' workshop is '1992.'

The viewing area did indeed have effects happening along with the show! I stuck around for a second viewing just to see what they were like; -Every single time Sonic got hit on screen, rings dropped down for the audience. The only time they showed up when he didn't get hit was near the end when he collected them -A surge of blue energy did indeed spread out from the screen and to the audience when Sonic impacted the ground- the palm trees also got blown back by it -The Tornado flew around the area both times that it was shown flying around on screen- the second time even included it getting struck by the laser from Eggman's mech -Police-esque lights glowed around the screen when the robot police showed up to get Sonic -There were several times where the ground shook- usually when giant robots were stomping around on screen -When Eggman was trying to excavate the Paradox Prism, badniks showed up in the area -Both times that the Paradox Prism activated, the one in the middle of the viewing area glowed I think that was all of them. Also there were letters in the area like the one you found- you could homing attack them and they gave you event points but I couldn't make out if they spelled anything? And this is a little unrelated side note that's on a more serious topic and I apologize, but I'd like to suggest not to turn the kid that interrupted the game awards into a meme. He was being antisemitic

I would say Ashley ball did a very good job in the role as tails as a matter of fact I did watch this episode about five times and on my third viewing I did compare the voice to rainbow dash from My Little pony friendship is magic and the Equestria girls spinoff and it shows that they are extremely identical so if you listen to tales's voice and then listen to a couple of voice clips of rainbow dash you'll get the comparison.

I just finish the whole episodes today It's okay but it's not great Just my opinion

my thoughts on sonic prime: I still say sonic x japanese wins every day of the week. its japanese made, its more serious targeted at older audience of kids in japan and was just censored by 4kids to be more cheesy, sonic x to this day is still the most serious and most accurate sonic show and portrayal of characters to date, only other thing comparable to sonic x is the frontiers knuckles prologue. the thing about prime is its western made, its made by the same people that made that ben 10 reboot these days, its done by netflix, its more dumbed down for kids, I guarantee its only gonna use tails' backstory and not use the actual amy one and have amy out of character(amy in japan is sonic's best friend besides tails, they're a close knit trio. also amy is meant to be the minnie mouse of sonic and sonic's love interest, that was the point of her creation in the sonic manga and sonic cd and having the tarrot cards that made her meet sonic), and on top of that, sonic is already out of character by saying he's getting tails/nine out of there and not trying harder to rescue amy, his other best friend, would make more sense for him to take her with him forcibly and talk sense into her or restore her old self somehow. meanwhile in frontiers, sonic refused to give up on amy and even claimed he would never stop and take down everything thrown at him until he rescued amy and sage couldn't stop him. the show is also taking too much inspiration from satam. also the roblox exclusivity, and then the big thing, its a netflix show and netflix has a bad track record as of late. also as we see with the games, sonic is going back to his shonen roots and being more of a seinen with more serious stories with maybe dark tones going forward now for the games so having a show come out still using the same childish boom/colors era/adventures of sonic the hedgehog childish tone isn't the best idea.
