Hey everyone. I hope you're doing well. I want to do this comparison as many of you requested this because of the notable concern of blooming in mini led tvs in general. please watch this video if blooming in dark scenes is a concern for you. Thank you all again for your support.

Don’t get me wrong the OLED is better as should be at the price. But Noticeably a lot less stars on the OLED 🤔. Also why do reviewers always play to OLED strengths when comparing to LCDs… like with total dark rooms. Why do we never see comparisons in a normal bright room or with bias lighting. If it was Blooming would be virtually non existent but you would also see the brightness advantages of the Mini LED. Not to mention the burn in risk and having to take a lot more care.

@Gman5218. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. Yes they both have pros and cons over one another. I do not personally see a difference in brightness while watching in a brighter environment. I actually tend to gear more towards the qd oled as it looks to he a little more clearer of an image over the mini led. Either way, I love to put them side by side just to show you all what I see.

@boriskamenov. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I'm glad the dropouts are gone. Thank you for the tip. Thank you so much for your support. I really do live the s95c. It is the brightest and most colorful TV for gaming out of all 3 of them. In game mode, it still pops. But I hope that samsung addresses these issues because they will lose customers because of the dropouts. You can't expect people to just accept that junk if problem, especially when there are other choices out there that make a more reliable tv and better quality control. This is nit the first time I've had similar problems with samsung and there dropouts.

Black crush would only crush a black and a gray and make them look the same. A white star would never be crushed to black unless it's a local dimming algorithm on an LED. They are on opposite ends of the gamma curve

How do the Samsung mini LEDs compare to the Hisense one? it's mainly about blooming. You make interesting videos, but the camera shakes while recording. Details are lost because of this. Could you use a tripod placed on a high chair, for example?

1 things tho, can u Make sure when advice ppl “if u have problem with it, please buy OLED.” U mean QD-OLED right? Cuz when u suggest Samsung S90C etc they are all QD-OLED panels . So ppl wont confuse as “ALL OLD are nicer than mini led”. Cuz like SONY A80L A80K,,,Horandous. A80K is like --iPhone 4s iPhone 5 level dim. It’s So dim like Plasma level dim. Really is like dark soup any time during the day Dim. 😮😮😮 n they come up like A75L even worse. 😮 i went to Bestbuy n saw the X80L it’s SEVER SEVER black blotchy looking . So it negates of trying not be Dim but no longer looking 3D. 😮

Oh come on the Hisense can't hit a specular highlight to save it life. The TV cannot handle a lot of complex color and motion in the same scene on the Hisense. I returned the Hisense for the Samsung S90C and just left my jaw on the floor for the last 3 weeks - rewatching everything. Enjoying that nice integration with XBOX Series X Forza Horizon 5. Please do NOT recommend any OLED. Samsung QD OLED is the industry breakthrough; priced to sell. Intended to bankrupt LG.

@cherbrubin. Hey, thank you for the comment and for checking out the video. The highlights with dtm are very good in my personal opinion. Sometimes, you definitely can notice where the hisense struggle in gradation, which I didn't speak much on, but regardless, I still think the tv offers remarkable value and quality for a really good price. It is definitely worth the money for the u8k, in my opinion. Audio is phenomenal, especially for its price. It can compete with the best built-in tv speaker systems out there in the 65-inch space easily. Probably the top 5 for many. And the picture quality is great. The tv has roughly 1000 dimming zones but plays the dimming zones very well, especially when set to high. The performance like motion, I definitely notice it can lack for sure. I agree, but nonetheless, if you're just streaming or playing video games on a new gen console like ps5 or Xbox series, x plugged in to the hdmi 2.1 ports (Only 2 of them) you should be able to have a fantastic experience that is very good. It's not an oled or qdoled, but it's still has great pq. Again, this is all perspective. Yes, you can get better, but it will cost more as well. I just think it fills a really good space that a good 75% of the people out there would love the tv

cmon.. i appreciate the effort behind the review.. but the callouts are misleading. No one watches from an angle.. and no one watches only starfields.. and its extremely rare to be watching content with high contrasty white on black for an extended period.

plus a lot of the blooming is non-existent in moderately lit rooms... Oled's have no perceivable advantage in those conditions. How about a review under those lighting conditions instead of pitch black with zero bias lighting?
@consumerreview2k
@consumerreview2k 8 ай бұрын
@spwhatmeworry. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Most people do not watch at an angle for sure but many ppl do too. And your right the starts are more of an extreme comparison hence why I did another demo which was a little more realistic to most scenes. The mulit colored flame seen is a representation of dark scenes that are not as aggressive but with contrasting colors. Like many scenes in real world dark scene content which I explain the blooming is not as obvious even at an angle. So my point was that it was more realistic to what most scenes are. The star light demo was a more aggressive demo to show how the blooming in dimming zones gets handled and to show the difference of hiw the 2 different technologies work and why you would want one over the other. But in most cases like in my previous videos blooming is not as noticeable as many may think. I love the hisebse u8k. I would would recommend it to anyone

It is a compromise when trying to be cost conscious. To the U8K's credit, you can have a family on a good size couch sitting in front of the TV without losing much picture integrity. You'd basically have to be sitting way off to the side... who does that anyway? I like the less judder and brightness more than worrying about viewing angles.

That is exactly what I think, no one sits at the sides for a tv. Not until.. I gets up for a cup of drink, to do some house chores, to work on my dining table, ahhh.. all those off angles color/brightness increase or loss. For a pc monitor, one might spend less time off the table. For a TV (non gaming), its not the case for many ppl.
