lol movies have been shot at 2.4:1 aka very close to 21:9 aspect ratio for a very long time now, so unless you're watching films from the last century often it will fill the entire screen.

I use the official case, doesn't need screen protector.

Currently it's a Spigen case made for Xperia 1. I've ordered the official flip case as well, so I'll make a video in it.

I personally moved from iPhone 8+. The only reason I didn't go for XS Max is because it didn't feel like such a significant upgrade over 8+, however the price really was an important factor. I personally just refused to pay £1400 for a phone. XS might feel a bit small in hand compared to 6P or Xperia 1. Yes display is bigger than on iPhone 8+ but the overall phone factor was smaller and a bit uncomfortable for me (it's not that my hands are to big, it's just I've been living with huge phones for a while and it's difficult to go smaller). If you're happy with 6P I'd say Xperia 1 is a way to go. I could suggest Pixel line, but I'm not a fan of some of it's implementations (like when you take a portrait picture, it creates two folders in DCIM folder, so if you use a file explorer or even a gallery that's not Google pohots, then every photo is in separate folder. What's more when you delete photo the folder stays, and because I use OneDrive rather than Google Pohots, then it's a right mess).

hold121 depends whether you're still happy with Android or sick of it and want iOS. In any other situation I'd say stick with Android at least but if you want to try a new operating system go with an iPhone 8+. Much better price and similar performance. Of course the displays are different

It's on par with iPad Pro 2018 and way punchier than on Xiaomi Mi 9 and XZ3 I've been using previously. There hasbeen no loss in terms of directness - vocals are still focused and direct, but the instruments around them are delivered in a way that makes it feel as if you’re in the room with the band. There’s a generous extra helping of lovely, deep bass but I'm using WH-1000XM3 headphones mainly.

Can't tell about battery life but Screen quality, Build and performance is better than Note 9

Note 9 had better battery and specially screen on time in my use. Performance is great on both devices. Sony has a better screen when watching movies in dark or medium lighting but Note 9 is brighter and that makes better outside. Both displays are awesome.

Uuu good question, however the last LG I've reviewed was G6 so I'm kinda rusty with LGs, and the got rid of all mobile representatives so there's even no one to talk to to ask if I can borrow a device to review.

LG is sound is important to you they are The best on dac+amp. Sony does not even have headphone Jack. Sony has better screen, cleaner android and likely better support for Android updates. Sony also has no notch.

Hey Familia. That is a very good question but it all depends on what are you going to use it for. I currently have 11 Pro Max and I absolutely love the battery life on it, but really would prefer to have 21:9 screen as watching John Wick and 6 Underground on Netflix on 16:9 screen of iPhone 11 Pro Max just doesn’t cut it. Not to mention 1080p vs 4K. Then again though Pro Max and Pro have better stabilisation when recording videos for example so it all depends on what you want from a phone.

I used to have XZ Premium and can't remember it overheating. Someone even did a test and it shut down after 2h of recording in 4K due to lack of space, but to answer your question, no it doesn't.

I had an XZ Premium and never did it it get hot just from recording. I would like to add that I got a S10 Plus only because Sony wouldn't release details on the Xperia 1 release date and if it would be compatible with Verizon. Well I pulled the trigger to early and reluctantly. I have mostly regretted it because my XZ Premium was far from perfect but was amazing nonetheless. Samsung really does make trashy phones and I want back to the Sony world.

I live in North Wales Anglesey in fact not far from Conwy, I don't think it's Conwy Castle, though hard to say if i'm honest, the colourful village just before is Portmeirion, in Porthmadog, so it could be Harlech castle. However, don't take my word for it even though we go to Conwy on a regular basis.

Yes it's Harlech Castle, as we love Wales we visit different parts of it whenever we do family trips. We did Portrmeirion and Harlech on that particular day, as mentioned by Adrian :)

It's because I had filmic pro, cinema pro and stock camera open, android sometimes doesn't handle that... very well. But when switching HDR on and off it does sometimes take a while.

I think oled dont have screen burn

On phones there is no danger of burn in, because you are always turning off you screen constantly.

@Milkman okay I shouldn't have said "no danger", but less. It's not as frequent as u would suggest. But it seems Samsung phones often had issues with burn in.

And battery life lasts when you leave Creator Mode on too.

@@gogigp have you tweaked Dolby eq settings into custom? Makes a major difference depending upon how you like your output to sound. Also, try manual camera mode with HDR on, astonishing results if you know what you're doing. Great phone.

do you have this phone? the screen is definitely NOT from LG... the 2K oled screen of the XZ3 is still the best non 4K screen.
