No, there are so many cheaper alts for street photography. This does not have a viewfinder which is pretty nice for photos. The photos on this camera is about the same as $200 2017 cameras.

Cameras used to be cheaper, relatively speaking, but since casual people prefer to shoot with smartphones nowadays, camera companies don't have an incentive to release cheap cameras anymore. They get better profits from the pro-sumer and professional markets.

@@TechThroughTheLens I was looking for HX 99 but its not there anywhere and even in used market.. But youtube is full of videos. Same for Panasonic ZS80. All good affordable camera's have tons of videos but not available anywhere
