I remember how excited I was to see James Marsden in this movie cause I've only known him for his role in the X-Men films so I was really taken aback to see him play this goofy, singing prince in a Disney film. 😂 Also I know people (including myself) are skeptical of Disney sequels but I am really excited for the sequel to this film! I just know that even if I hate the plot and the songs, I'll be just as happy to see the actors reprise their roles.

This is one of those movies where being theatrical plays so well with the storyline (not me having Avatar the Movie nightmare flashbacks)

I may be off base here, since i'm not really a connoisseur of feminist films, but this movie seems far more feminist than the new Cinderella remake. The overly done virtue signalling just seems shallow and patronizing, not only for men but for women as well. That's just my opinion tho.

I like Enchanted a lot, not my personal favorite Disney film (ahem, Mary Poppins), but I agree that it probably gets overlooked a lot. It's a perfectly charming, heartwarming movie. And yeah Amy Adams and James Marsden are perfectly cast in this. I'm glad you love you too. Enjoy your videos as always : ) ...and yeah, also don't know why this isn't on Disney+, very strange

I agree so much with you that this is such a good-feel movie and it just gives me boosts of serotonin one after the other. Its a magical movie that manages to point the finger at tropes in such a fun manner but also fall for them in such an endearing way. And Amy? She's just PERFECT. Love this movie

I love this movie. It introduced the world to the wonder known as Amy Adams. Also, the songs in this film are amazing. I regularly sing That's How You Know when cleaning or cooking. Oh, and I'm typing this at the beginning of the video and I FULLY expect you to sing along to every song.

This was the movie that made me understand why people loved Patrick Dempsey so much- I'd never seen Grey's and had only seen him in Scream 3 before. Loved his character and he was the perfect 'anti-prince'. And I'm so glad this movie tied up James' and Idina's story too, a lot of movies would have just forgotten about them after Amy got her happy ending.

2:34 Fun fact: those heart-shaped flowers are a easter egg, because later, Giselle tells the doves to give heart-shaped flowers to Nancy. And Giselle's statue of her prince is supposed to be an easter egg reference to Ariel's statue of Prince Eric, because Giselle looks like Ariel. Things I learned from Disney movies: NEVER trust the old lady! (Unless she's your grandma). 5:41 Ha! And there's the Wicked billboard in the corner! I didn't realize Giselle had white ribbons in the back of her hair, I thought she just had a tiara. And a easter egg I never knew until just now is at 12:35, there's a billboard for "Superman," and the year before this movie came out, a "Superman" movie came out with James Marsden in it. Who knew?

I was in my 20s when this movie came out and I was amazed at how it got like zero attention! I thought it was so good and I don’t even have the nostalgia factor from it being part of my childhood. I still really love it, and the songs! I was also so mad it wasn’t on Disney+!!!!

What’s funny is I didn’t know who Idina Menzel was either until frozen so when I looked up Elsa’s voice actress I was embarrassed. I’ve seen enchanted AND Wicked so many times. I never bothered to connect Idina’s greatness until then 🤦🏾‍♀️
