That’s just her coaching style, her players elbowed, pulled hair and punched but Carolina and Dawn are the bad person took so many people wring that HVL was not a point guard and use the players on the bench to get them ready, which she started doing and the team got better, why did we need to tell her anything just because she is just a bad person. I’m glad Watkins wasn’t involved in a fight with Johnson because she punched Ashlyn on it’s of review tape but Johnson never got ejected

If you're 6-8 [6-7], don't push somebody that little. That was uncalled for in my opinion. Let those two girls who were jawing, let them go at it." STALEY: "I just want to apologize to the basketball community. You know when you're playing in championship games like this in our league, things get heated... I want to apologize for us playing a part in that, that's not who we are, that's not what we're about."

The difference in Dawn and Kim’s responses is ASTOUNDING. Dawn taking accountability for her players’ actions, acknowledging LSU’s role in the incident too, and tying it all together with speaking about her conversation with Flaujae and making sure she defends her character as a person ..that is class on a whole ‘nother level. I’ve never really had an opinion about Kim mulkey one way or the other. I just knew she was a very successful coach in the sport . LSU WOMEN PLAY GOOD BASKETBALL. COCKINESS IS GREAT, AND NEEDED. BUT PLAYING (BULLY BALL) AND TALKING CRAP. CAN BE THOUGHT OF AS POOR SPORTSMANSHIP. OTHER FOLKS APPEAR TO HAVE GOTTEN FED-UP. LSU RECEIVED WHAT THEY'VE BEEN DISHING OUT.

Some of y’all have to understand these girls are like family they tell us this day in and day out. Kamilla seeing her sister get pushed down after all the other pushing and pulling was probably her “13th” reason . Now i’m not saying it’s ok, ofc it could’ve and should’ve been handle better but we’re all humans with emotions.

People complain that you are messing with the lineup They complain, how this one didn't start, and that one didn't start. This was the moment that shows why she is doing that. Preparation for any situation. When the bench players get a chance to start, it does wonders for their confidence, and knowing how to grind out wins. When the starters are not there, the bench can complete the job against the opposing starters for a win.

Exactly. It wasn't the way to handle it but, in a situation where you've taken it throughout the game... the hair yanking, the tech foul for the intentional backhand to the face in the first half, the second backhand that went uncalled and was the busted lip... Sometimes people react understandably. Bad on her part for sure but understandable in the heat of the moment. Plus, I think the pushing on the "baby" of the bunch escalated it in her. And I agree with another commenter... Yeah, it was bad but there have been far worse altercations. This was a player shoving another player. It's not like a melee or brawl.

What an example of a girls basketball team, COACH!!!! I respected her before, but now I hold a higher level of respect for her. She is classy as one should be. She holds herself accountable,as she should have. I hear love as she speaks for her players. As for Cardoso, we all have done things that we regretted , the very secret it was done. Do not judge her for today before you go and watch other interviews of her. She may be 6,7”, but her smile and heart is much much more than what we saw today. If there is a person walking on this earth, that has never made a mistake, I would love to meet them. We are not GOD, we all make mistakes!!!! Congratulations on the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Congratulations to Coach and players. Kudos to Coach for speaking to the player on the LSU. Kudos to Coach for taking ownership for the role your team played in scuffle. Its happens and this one incident should not be held against either team. If anything it should show how passion the ladies are about playing and winning the chip.

The responses of the 2 team players reflect the coaches' attitudes! These young women are calm and refocused. On the other hand, LSU act like they are ready to continue the chaos by saying they're not scared!!! Clearly the way Kim and Dawn nurture their teams are totally opposite! Thank you, Dawn for teaching young women how to grow to be professional women! ❤

You ladies have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. What I observed was nothing less than exhibiting a level of courage, unity, and character that should be commended. What I saw was players working to come to the defense of their teammates. What I saw was two rivals unwilling to bow down. IMO, it was a thing of beauty to see. What’s disheartening, and coming from a man’s opinion is the women are held to a different standard. While women lift all those weights, run all those laps, and prepare at the same rate as men, it seems to be unacceptable for you to stand up for your teammates. I’m telling you, during the Bad Boy era it was expected to unite. Another observation is that in 2024, this era of women’s basketball is becoming a game changer. What I see is MUST SEE T.V. The level of play is incredibly high and the personalities are gravitationally welcoming.

On one hand, Ms Cardoso should have pushed Ms Reese because She's the one that accosted Her several times during the game; Yet, on the other hand, It was Ms Johnson who created/started the game interrupting situation that received the push of frustrations that had been building up by Ms Cardoso throughout the game. I agree that the game Referees should taken better Control of the game Early-on and Set a better atmosphere for Fair Play. Finally; I Do Not Condone the Actions of Anyone for the Disruptive Incident that Stopped The Game. Peace...

It's one thing to play the game hard and physical, that's expected. It's something different to play violently. Both teams are tipping too close to the latter. For those who desire a BB career after college, they will have to learn the difference. Play fair, play tough and be safe.
