Just listening and taking a break from listening to Spanish! The neighbors son came by after school and he stopped to see what I was doing. Anyway, as he left talking to me he said: “voy llegando” that was the first time I hear that. It is like he is saying, I gotta go home now. He was just like 10 feet from his house. I would have expected him to say voy a casa o hasta luego. Well, I just thought I would share that! I could probably start my own channel with what I hear while I am down in Mexico from my home in Texas. 🤠

I think this is the vid u were talking about Yesterday when u told me about the short stories for beginners I enjoyed watching the video seems like it has many interesting resources I'll jump on the website that has the stories and try some of them (if not all of them 🙈) out

Yohooo! Exactly! You’ve found it!!! Yeah I think in the beginning short stories like this can be really helpful, even only one short paragraph a day. Don’t stress yourself cuz it really takes a lot of effort to do reading like this when you just start out😌

Btw when you’re somewhere between A2 and B1, you can try to read the short story book that I shared in another video, I believe it’s 2 or 3 videos before this beginner video. There is a link where you can download the book. That one comes with a nice vocab list with English translation after each chapter🥳

请教个问题，我听西班牙语电台，好长一段时间没有进展，总是听懂一些词，但每次好像都是那些词，然后整句就听不懂完整意思，怎么破局? 已经困扰很长时间了

我觉得听电台呀看剧呀这种算作是泛听，就是磨耳朵泡脑子这种感觉，但是在这个基础上要作一些精听，就是带文稿的那种，反复听看看能不能逐字听懂。我觉得听电台想都会听懂对词汇量要求还蛮大的，再就是在精听的时候会学到一些比如他们发音啊连读啊这些规律，慢慢在泛听的时候就能感受到了。但我觉得想有那种看得见的提高练精听比较好、还能捎带着学一些词汇

While you provided useful resources I have two suggestions for improvement. First the books used by your friend mentioned at 9:19 are not good for beginners since they are in Spanish. Second I recommend eliminating the background music in future videos. It makes it more difficult to make out what you are saying.
