Laura, I want to thank you for doing this. I just recently got into my dorm at college, and won't be able to see my grandmother until Thanksgiving. Watching you two, reminds me of when I was a child and cooking with her. Also the way you talk to your grandmother, reminds me of how my mother talks with my grandmother. Thank you for the small memories, hope everything is well.

I live in Little Italy, and at the huge famers market here I am fairly sure I can get those peppers. Thanks for showing us how to prepare them and especailly for sharing your lovely grandmother with us.

I was never much into cooking until I discovered this channel. Unfortunately, I found Laura right around the time my Grandmother passed away, about 2 years ago. My grandma was an amazing cook, but I never cooked with her because I was never interested in it. It brings me joy to see Laura cooking with her grandmother, even though I no longer have the opportunity myself.

Laura, your videos are so inspiring ! I'm a new wife, and your recipes have helped me out a lot :-) That's really great your Italian grandma taught you so many recipes and that you still cook with her!

Laura, I live in Los Angeles near Orange County and there are MANY privately owned markets. The next time I'm shopping there, I'll ask them what the English name is and it will give you a start. The Korean markets are a very good source for many things like anchovy powder and paste, GARLIC was $2 for three pounds (time to make roasted garlic and olive oil). Thanks again - your program is my absoulte favorite! Easy to follow and cooking just like mother (or grandma) would do.
