Honestly a lot of people would go Aoi's route.

Honestly I imagine Breath of the Medicine could be a style that emphasizes quick stabs and cuts, with a focus being on severing the muscles and joints of a demon's body (since most of them are still fundamentally human in terms of anatomy) to slow them down and give Aoi a chance to behead them in a "safer" way rather than go for the head from the start. This would fit her still being somewhat cautious/scared in a fight even as she does try to hold her own with Tanjiro and the others. Paired with the two moves you mentioned one idea I had was "Final Form: Kusanagi Lancet," after both the Grasscutter sword from Japanese myth and the lancet/scalpel used in medical procedures. How it could work is that Aoi has to charge right at an opponent that has usually been weakened already and makes a stab at the side of their neck. From there she launches out the blade of her sword, before then twisting her body and swinging the sword itself to the other side so that the two attacks converge at the center of the target's neck and effectively slicing it twice. The trick with this technique is that if she hesitates the odds are very high that her opponent will be able to heal or counter the attack before she can finish them off. Thus it is a move she has to work to do and could be reflective of a character moment where she has to fully face her fears and taken down a strong demon on her own.

Her feeling towards not fighting demons is understandable: It takes guts battling not average villains, but actual killing machines that would pulverize someone in no time, but she has no need to underestimate her job.

The only way I see her entering the final arc (yes, we're currently in the final arc, unless the editor forces the mangaka to make a sequel ala Boruto) is if the Biwa demon uses her dimensional blood art to send demons out to look for Nezuko. She could send demons to the Butterfly estate, Urokodaki's hut and the remaining Ubuyashikis' hideout in an effort to look for Nezuko. Aoi might make her moment in finally facing her fears by protecting Sumi, Kiyo and Naho (and maybe Goto) from the incoming demons.

To think she ended winning inosuke's heart by just serving him food to stop him from stealing....food 😳. Yeah, boarboy's brain is not too complex but he's golden.

Maybe you could do the beauty of Yoriichi Tsugikuni? Hes a rather interesting character with a rather poetic existence

I always felt that this series could've used one more arc to help flesh out Pillars we haven't seen properly (Gyomnei and Iguro), set up other Upper moons (Nakime and Douma), give an arc to the supporting characters (Aoi and Murata), learn more about Nezuko, and give time to show more lore and power-ups. The series still ended really well but it always felt a bit off as there are still unexplained elements around

I'm not super in the know with styles and that but as for medicine based ones -Several quick strikes before wrapping the demon up in her outer maid outfit similar to wrapping them in a cast -Assuming the pressure blade, striking a vital point and shooting the blade into it, rushing behind a demon and having them fly into your new sword. I see her being a momentum based fighter letting the weight of her enemies do the work for you like how medicine can only do so much on its own as well as many trap/constrict based moves

I really wished that after shinobu's death the crows who kept flying could go to the butterfly estate and inform that shinobu is dead. So, that would make Aoi extremely sad and furious then she would go to fight doumo with kanao and inosuke

I've thought of a few weapon options for Aoi that would work better with her fear of combat as well as go along with Shinobu's poison. The obvious options would be to use projectile weapons like bullets, arrows, or crossbow bolts. I don't remember if nichirin is required for piercing and puncturing as opposed to cutting but if it is required these weapons can be mass-produced. They can also either be coated with the poisons or contain them in some way. If Aoi uses firearms/ranged weapons she can be a support in combat by letting the swordsmen fight up close and she can poison or injure/damage the demon(s) from a distance. Also, I can kind of see her using a rifle. lol Shoot! Genya uses a pistol. Another idea would be for her to use a spear. The spear tip could be detachable or not but it would work like a stinger. Coat or contain poison and thrust it into the demon. The shaft can be used to block and attack with and the length can be used to allow her to fight from a distance. If the spear tips are detachable they can be mass-produced and would use far less Nichirin than creating replaceable sword blades. For transport, the spear could be split into two halves that lock/screw together. This would also give her the option of wielding two weapons at once be it two short spears or basically two clubs with one having the spear tip. AAAANnnnd just like with the rifle, I could see her using a spear for some reason. She's fast and agile and pretty decently strong if she is able to rehab. the others so any of these weapons could work very well for her.

Too bad, i feel like the manga is on its final point. I agree with you,Aoi had a potential to be used in the future but most likely her character will not be explored anymore :(

Personally I think good manga know when to end and I think the end of this/the next arc will be the best point before jumping the shark

omg I love Aoi and I think your ideas for a breath of the medicine form sounds really freaking cool. I think she is best girl as well.

I don't know why but I thought that she could make her own breath style inspired by the breath of water and flower called breath of the water lily with her using a bladed fan in which she could throw and slice with inspired by the weapons of upper moon two that killed both Kanae and Shinobu. But if they do plan on making her more important, I think that, realistically, they will just give her a sword. (Okay, if im being really realistic since they did say the current arc is the final one, they will not include her anymore :( ).

Geez do I just not know where Kimetsu no Yaiba is going. For a shonen, the pacing is going at a BLISTERINGLY FAST speed, and it's hard to tell if the current arc is the actual final one (and the manga is actually just surprisingly short for a shonen) or if there actually will be a continuation after this arc that has Muzan either powered up and unbeatable or there's a bigger enemy over the horizon (possible, since the circumstances surrounding Muzan's power is still somewhat mysterious). I can't wait to find out.

She could incorporate it into her fighting style so her enemy effectively “whithers on the vine” For a demon for her to fight, I’m imagining a demon that could be like a beetle, armadillo, or some armored creature that has an automatic barrier that blocks all strong breath attacks. Her attacks would be small enough that she could slip through the barrier and is able to whittle it down until it basically crumbles in on itself

I have an idea: Since most breath styles connect to the user's personality in some way shape of form (like how Rengoku is Passionate and Inosuke is Wild) and this hypothetical breath is a combination of Tanjiro and Kaneo's, how about Breath of the Coral? I feel as if this would be a good fit for her due to her being orderly and grounded yet cautious and nervous. Just a suggestion.
