Let's go over some specifications on the Healthpro Plus:
1) the SIZE - the unit is 28" tall (30" with the casters attached), 15"W x 16"D
2) Weight: The unit weighs about 35 lbs.
3) Wheels/Casters? You can add some casters/ small wheels to the unit... which makes it very easy to push on the floor however you don't have to put the casters on if you don't want to and it will still work. Most people do.
4) Power cord Length: it comes with a nice long 8-foot power cord you attach to the unit.
5) COLORS it comes in 1 color beige and it has some white components. There is another option called the Klaus Series and which is a unit with a wood exterior... and that costs about $2,500.
6) WHAT IS IT MADE OF? The unit is made of plastic.
7) Remote: does it have a remote - Yes
8) SPEEDS: It has 6 different SPEEDS and here are the CFMs for each speed with the 3 filters installed which is the True Airflow Rate: speed 1- 40 cfms, 2-75, 3-130, 4 - 170, 5 - 200, 6 - 300 cfms. -
9) Noise Levels - Here are the noise levels on each speed. I tested the noise levels at a distance of 3 feet. : speed 1 - 41.8 , 2 - 42.6 , 3 - 44.7 , 4 - 49.4 , 5 - 53.4 , 6 - 59.3 , I run my unit on speed 6 and I enjoy the white noise but I think most people probably run their units on speeds 3 or 4. They made the unit quieter several years ago with the New Edition so this unit is noticeably quieter than the old one I had next to my desk. I think it's something like 20% quieter... I actually prefer the additional white noise of the old unit - but most people will probably prefer it being quieter. Specifications IQ Air HealthPro Plus
10) AREA COVERAGE - the Healthpro Plus is rated to get about 2 air exchanges in 1,200 sq. ft. with 8 ft. ceilings which is 9,600 cubic ft. and it will get almost 3 air exchanges in 800 sq. ft w/ 8 ft. ceilings and it will get almost 4 air exchanges in 600 sq. ft. and it gets about 5 and a half Air exchanges in 400 sq. ft. - all on the high-speed setting... so it can really move a lot of air and cover a lot of cubic footage. I am a big believer in Super Sizing your air purification solution for your cubic footage if possible as you get more air exchanges - and NO, you can't oversize an air purifier for a space - you can't go too big. So, many customers put the Healthpro Plus in their bedrooms - I'd say at least 30%of the people who bought from me put a unit in their bedroom and many people actually have more than 1 unit in their home, as well, like also in their family room. I have 4 air purifiers in my home.
11) Energy Consumption and Cost: the Healthpro Plus plugs into a regular household outlet - it is 110-120 v. / 50/60 Hz; 1.2 Amps, 135 Watts. - Energy Consumption: here is the energy consumption on the different speeds in Watts: On Speed 1 - 27 watts, 2 - 53, 3 - 92, 4 - 121, 5 - 154, 6 - 215 Watts,
The average cost of electricity in the state of GA. is 13.4 cents per kilowatt hour... Therefore, If I run the Healthpro Plus 24 hours per day at high speed - it will cost about $20.75 a month to run. If I run it on speed 3 every second of the day for a month - it will cost about $8 for the month and on low speed, it would be about $2.60 for the month. Just to give you an idea. And that is for World Class Medical Grade air quality.
