I used to have a SanDisk slide USB memory stick. The plastic slider is not very durable. Mine broke after about a year.

My sandisk dual write speeds start with 60mb and then drops to 33mb/sec when i start copying big file into the usb, is that normal ? Plus is heats up

This is normal. Generally flash drives have a cache built in. Once you reached the limit, it will slow down the transfer rate. This is very common. Nothing to worry about.

@@CreativeSoftz good morning and thanks for the reply, i got an update the write speed differs from a module to another according to size for instance my friend got the 64GB version and i got 128GB one, my write speeds start off with 70mb/sec then drops to 33/mb/sec while my friend's start off with 33mb/sec and then drops to 17mb/sec ! , I felt so em embarrassed since i am the one who recommended it, so i was wondering if that also means the 256GB version will get more write speeds hince more on 512GB one? Idk just wanted to say so others pay attention when purchasing this USB. It's a shame that not all modules have same cache.

why the last video test you did with the Luxe it writes 69mbps then on this video you said it is just 42 same USB brand ... different videos different write output ,,why ?

sometime also depends on the state of the machine etc we use multiple 128 drives for testing results might vary but will be in the same ballpark

Had a SanDisk with a mechanism similar to the one on the right (it was MicroUSB instead of USB-C back then) and can confirm the mechanism stopped working after a while. I just bought the Luxe hopefully it lasts longer.
