We love the Peach rub as well. Recently we used peach juice as the liquid in the bath and man let me tell you, it was a home run. I encourage everyone to try it.

The peach rub is one of my favorite rubs. Such a good idea using pineapple juice. I'm going to have to try that sir. Thanks for all the awesome videos, always learn a lot from you.

Those timberlines look nice have me thinking to but one now. Great price. One problem though ? Their being discontinued/ no longer made. Why is my question ? Any thoughts on em ? Between that or the Rec teq 1250
@HeathRilesBBQ
@HeathRilesBBQ Жыл бұрын
I'm not aware of them being discontinued. They have a shop local option on Traeger's website for this particular grill. Could just be coming out with newer models if they are. I love my Traegers, personally. I use them a lot in videos. You can't go wrong with a Traeger or a Rec Teq, truly. Just a personal preference.

Seems to me that using peach juice would enhance the peach flavor. And that is what you are going for, correct? JMHO Gotta say those ribs looked tasty nonetheless...

Why the 30 minute rest, will not the ribs cool down too much or are you placing in them blankets and a cooler to hold the heat ?
@HeathRilesBBQ
@HeathRilesBBQ Жыл бұрын
I like to let them rest for 3o minutes because it just give them time to cool down and really let the flavors sink into the taste.
@Cbbq

@@HeathRilesBBQ do you rest them at room temperature?

I notice you have been using royal oak charcoal pellets alot lately. Is there a noticeable taste profile from wood? Temperature difference? Less or more ash in the smoker? Maybe a next video/sponsor idea?
@HeathRilesBBQ
@HeathRilesBBQ Жыл бұрын
I just prefer using the royal oak charcoal pellets. I still use wood pellets every now and then!

H R you seem to only cook baby back ribs, i am new to you site and I use the small Traeger 22'" model, I like to cook St Louis, will they cook the same as B back with you suggestion of 300 degrees, thanks G M

I do a lot of baby backs, but I did St. Louis Style not too long ago: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fNeJhNiK0ciseGQ.html. Pretty similar cooking process overall.

Do ya really need that much seasoning to make good rib's? I think I make pretty good one's and so does my family. Can you even taste the pork with that much seasoning on them? The real meat kandy I guess.
@HeathRilesBBQ

I can promise youI did not put too much seasoning!
