Here's my simple recipe for spicy tamarind fried fish.
The sauce has a burst of spicy, sour, sweet and salty flavour on a crispy fried whole fish. Here's the full ingredients list:
FRIED FISH
1 whole seabass (Siakap)
1 tbsp corn flour
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
AROMATICS
1/2 yellow bell pepper
3 red chillies
7-8 cloves of garlic
5 bird eye chillies
5 bunch of coriander
SEASONING FOR SAUCE
2 tbsp fish sauce
3 tbsp tamarind /asam jawa
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup warm water
