Raimi Wanted the original take on venom where he just made the host be covered by Goo and be buffer. He also wanted a originak take. His own take being that of Venom being the Evil Ash to Spider-Man. Being a dark reflection of him,and the alien being some kind of Evil Dead Demon itself. Venom in Spider-Man 3(2007) was going to be a creature that used it's host's corpse as puppets after absorving all flesh and life force.

Huh, how would fatal blows work? Is the hosts is usually way smaller than venom is on the outside, so all the bone breaking stuff might look weird

I mean the symbiote in this universe lives in your cells even after you get rid of it so i reckon it could be like a sandman thing in this game where the pieces have to be put together or something but I don't think venom is completely dead.

I mean realistically what would you hope to get out of Venom being bonded to Eddie this time? Eddie and Peter don't have ANY relationship in this universe as far as we know. We know they worked at the Daily Bugle together but that was completely it. The main High School Bully wasn't Eddie Brock but Flash Thompson. Until further explanation is given Eddie Brock is just... Some guy who worked at the Bugle with Peter before the events of the first game. He's gonna be WAY harder to make interesting this time around because we have *zero* prior experience with him in this universe. And the characters as far as we know have zero prior experience with him too. So it'd be just as awkward for them as it would be us. And it'd ***especially*** be even weirder for Eddie, who in this universe is some random dude with NO prior experience with anyone else to be the key to making Venom into an Anti-Hero again this time. (Which you absolutely KNOW is going to happen whenever that Spin-Off Game comes out because there's not a single fucking chance in hell they're keeping him as a villain for Spider-Man 3 cause he'll *completely* overshadow Doc Ock's Revenge and Norman's Debut as The Goblin. Again... I *hope* I'm wrong on this. And I want to see Eddie and Venom be peak as much as the next guy. But I think at this stage of the series Eddie will be way too hard to introduce in a natural way at this point.

@@kaptainkibiroproductions45 you're totally right, thought i was thinking with this whole photography gimmick was going on Peter might have been getting ahead of Eddie and that makes Eddie kinda pissed off? But then again, we know so little about Eddie in this universe like you said. So i am not sure. Personally I don't like Flash being Venom as well other than Agent Venom stories. But yeah. It's just a hope for now. Probably wont happen, but i hope with dlc's we get to see more of Venom somehow came back and *IS* playable on free roam as well. I would be so much mad towards Insomniac if the game wasn't good though- So it kinda gets a pass for now.

why would they, it wouldn’t make sense lorewise, he also has no way to travel because venom can’t web swing
