don't we all though haha Yes I figured out from the last WW call I was on that a lot of ppl don't realize why losing muscle is bad they think lbs are lbs lost period. I need to review that next video

I took my first zepbound shot just this past Wednesday, i hadn’t got any side effects but tiredness next day after my shot, but no headaches dizziness or any feelings of vomiting. I had up my water intake as i was getting a little constipation. But just like you I’m not as hungry anymore. Even today when i woke up this morning,I wasn’t hungry but i made sure i ate just not as much as i used too. Your videos helps me a lot. We are doing this together ❤

exactly you aren't thinking about food. but it's making it really easier for me to just say ok I need protein and actually just get out protein and eat it and move on

Hello’ just watched your video, you had some great tips ! I am in MJ right now I’m trying to stay on 7.5 , I have had the rest and the higher doses from 10-15 I was a zombie. But it will be a year next month and I’m hanging in there and trying to reach my goal. Glad to see you on here my daughter is starting the zepbound as soon as her doctor gets things together with insurance. Nice to see you you did a great job , good info!!

I just turned 70 and I thought with being older and a few health issues I was having a harder time. I’ve seen a couple people in their 60s but not so much my age .

I have to keep reminding myself to eat fruit. I went so many years not eating fruit on keto unless it was a handful of blueberries or maybe 3 strawberries. I'm just trying to be better overall with eating!

I’m on 2 months of zepbound and have lost 15lbs (which is way fast for me but slow in comparison to others). For me, I’m with you, I don’t necessarily eat less, I’m just able to make better choices bc my body isn’t craving food/sugar all day.

I have been eating so much more than I normally do. but it's whole foods. I used to think I could only eat low carb to lose weight but I'm seeing now that'd not the case. my favorite thing right mow Is baked potato and a picked of fish

I had a hard time finding anyone doing videos like this outside of "experts" that weren't even taking nor have they ever taken the drug. 😂 Other than that it was just ppl sitting on shorts saying small tidbits but not suggestions on how they handled it or what they did..I hope to keep making videos that help and give some insight into the actual experience. Like right now I cannot even obtain the drug

Yes you do! It's one of my favorite things bc it automatically updates my protein g each time I update my weight so I don't even have to think about it! I also saw that the points is now an option with the clinic side as well of you prefer the points but honestly I have REALLY enjoyed the protein circle and then the fruit and veggies circle (and they track your water too) it also tracks your fitness you can either wear a tracker ...i.e. fitbit , garmin, apple watch etc and it will auto track your fitness or you can manually log it in as well. I find it REMINDS ME I need to eat more and drink more water! that alone I would probably pay for lol 😆

In the UK we call that type of neck pain a 'cricked neck'. I've also had this since started Mounjaro. I didn't make the connection between the two things until now so thank you.

Yes on my week 2 video I show where I found a whole thread on Reddit with people with the same thing. Most say it goes away 24 hrs after the injection. but each time you up the titration it comes back. Also...haha.. in the "South" East US we call it a "crick in yer neck" I just didn't want to get that southern on the video LOL

@jc10907Sealy I was just reading a news article saying grocery stores are complaining bc ppl are spending LESS on groceries! haha so this rings very very true. Factor in the Starbucks and the Chickfila I don't go get multiple times a week now. Savings!!!

I just prescribed Zepbound. I’m waiting on a prior authorization as well. Hopefully my insurance will cover it. I have health issues and this help be a tremendous tool for me to lose weight

My sweet…be very careful with tropical fruit. It’s a sugar bomb. I LOVE THEM, but I limit to 1/4 cup a day and I’m pretty sure it’s messing up my weight loss 😞, but I love it with cottage cheese. I’m probably going to give it up for a few weeks and see if it is effecting my scale dancing around.

Those aches were real the 1st 48hrs after my 1st injection. i took my second injection last night and i have aches again. It feels like ive been lifting weights or sleeping on the floor. its such a weird feeling.

@KetosisMom yeap I did n no not yet my follow up is next week. I'm Journaling everything I feel. But I joined some fb groups today n there's alot of others talking about this. Just glad to see others r experiencing it because youtube dsnt have lots of ppl rakkjng about it especially to the extent I have the pain. It's like 3 ppl including you that's even mentioned pain

@jessicacotton1833 just make sure you're paying attention and listening to your own body. These work for some people and not for others. there are plenty of other options coming out soon in the pipeline. If you cannot take how this makes you feel, you may want to hold out for one of those. I actually found that most ppl were doing nothing but singing praises of these drugs and never discussing what was actually happening to them, and when, and how long it lasted etc. I also feel like in clinical trials a lot of the patients don't mention things like this bc they don't want to miss out on participating in the trial. Keep me posted on of it clears up, or continues, and what your Dr says. Are you on zepbound (brand) Injector?

I believe it's $86/month to have the virtual Dr and Careteam plus the App to log food - nutrition and fitness team. To me it's work it for all of that

I had head and neck pain as well, although my neck pain was gone by day two my head was still hurting all day the next day. I don’t know if this is a good side effect, and I’m hoping it doesn’t happen when I do my second shot.

I know this is going to be an annoying question bc I always find it to be as well haha But are you excessively drinking water? I noticed I had to try and overdo my water the first few weeks especially!

@@KetosisMom Yes I’ve been crazy about drinking water, the third day and now the fourth day I’ve had absolutely zero side effects so should I be worried about the neck and headache the first two days?

@tiffanyaris I had the exact same thing and I never had it again. I would say that if it returns you need to bring it up to your prescriber!

@@KetosisMom you’re on the loading dose, I lost a decent amount of weight on that..I am almost to maintenance and starting to feel a tad nervous, I also am discovering that I have some body dismorphia, this whole weight loss thing can mess with our heads..lol

@@dianeodgers4700yes I am taking pictures for myself so I can see things side by side. Hopefully this works for me when so many other things did not. I am up an additional 40 lbs on my autoimmune disease meds and I didn’t have 40 lbs to gain 😮

I started in November 22. 2.5 worked 3 months for me. I went to 5 mg and have been on that dose until recently. I just moved to 7.5 mg. I only moved up if it wasn’t working for me.

@@KetosisMom both. The food noise returned and I wasn’t losing any weight or inches. I was on 5 mg for close to 1 year. I had a pretty good run with 5. I waited about 3 months to see if anything changed and it didn’t. My doctor agreed it was time to try 7.5. I just started a few days ago. The food noise is gone and my appetite is suppressed.

@CP-hj9wu I saw on the clinical trial chart they moved ppl up every 4 weeks to get to the 15 then tampered them back down after the weight was lost. but that kinda makes me nervous

that's exactly where I get them! I have been trying to make a coffee with protein powder at home and heat those egg bites so I think I'm having Starbucks haha The veggies made great muffins are also at Costco right now (or there were at mine) also a great way to meet veggies goals!
