What do you guys think is the most perfect wheel that Spitfire makes?

To be honest, all formula four wheels are fantastic, the small details tailor each shape for different ways of skating, but they're all fantastic

I just got a set of the radials in 53mm. Perfect wheel for street and transition. They lock in so good.

Im new to skating. Been trying to find some good wheels that are all around good for street skating while also being good for tricks. Thank you for the help

Perfect time to watch this during my down time at work . The radial shape is awesome looking , I love how it’s a wider classic shape wheel. I’m skating the radial full 54mm at the moment and I somewhat wish I had gotten the regular radials because the fulls grip so much especially with 8.5 trucks but they’re growing on me. When I get tired that’s when I know I need to cut the session short lol . I’m thinking of downsizing and getting a lighter truck( 144 Indy titaniums ) to balance it out.

Leon i love the weird mellow pop music you always use on your skating segment:) I built my Jason Lee reissue btw! With indy 4 166 trucks and now im on the hunt for good wheels to ride on rough asphalt. I think a normal hard wheel will be too hard

Crazy setup

Hey Leon, great vid! I have a question, I've only been skating for a good couple of months, been thinking about an upgrade from my bones 53mm 100a sidecuts to either spitfire conicals or conical fulls, on a friend's recommendation. I've just started to learn ollies and stuff so with that in mind, what would you recommend I get? Either one of the conicals or these radials? Thanks! Love the channel and vibes! Literally the best wheel, been riding mine for over a year now (I tend to run my wheels and bearings for quite a while). A bunch of people are feeling the radial fulls here and I am curious to try those out as well, comparison video? *wink*

Currently riding some 56mm Radial fulls in 97a they are a good all rounder in my opinion and I can imagine these are pretty much the same but a bit more like a classic so would be a bit more slippery given the slightly smaller riding surface so maybe if you like the radials but its still a bit too slippery give the Radial fulls a try you can get em in 99a aswell as 97a also so I would suggest 97a Radial fulls as the anti-slippingist ones lol

I’m riding the 53mm Radials (not the Slims and not the Fulls). It’s a nice sized wheel. Not too wide and bulky like a Conical or Conical Full but still wider than the Classics giving you some more surface area to help with the crustier streets. All the while retaining the shape of the Classics and tipping more easily. I like ’em.

The best spitfires I’ve tried were the old f1 street burners that came out in 2010’s. They don’t make them anymore but there were a 101 that was very chalky

Not sure if they’re the best or not but I’ve been riding Spitfire Lock-Ins Full 55mm and am super happy with them. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on them!

Like because I'm happy for you but I'll still stay on Bones Dragon formula mostly because of street skating :') BTW i like the idea of long-term reviews but please include the approximate percentage of skatepark/street skating just to have a better idea how much would they last and feel in each environment

I'm currently riding spitfire f4 classic full shape. They're shaped like the regular classic, but a little bit wider. Love them so far

You would really like the Lock In Fulls

Honestly the 93 a soft slider is the best wheel I've used so far. The 54 mm is just all-around great for Street and Park.

I don't know where you are however that skate park looks super mellow and fun the only thing I think to make it perfect is the addition of a smaller bowl

for your info, the Powell Dragons 54mm V4 shape have the same shape according to my own measurements than the Spitfire 54mm Radials ;)

What size board and trucks? I just got the radials and set up on a 9.5 razor egg with Ace 77’s and my Tre flips seem to have taken a hit. could be just an off day for me.

Conicals for me, like the Bones v5, top 2. Round and square with a dip on the inside.

this is the shape i gravitate towards, though not spitfire specifically. i tended to avoid spitfire bc the classics were too skinny, but i'd consider these. i like when the wheel is wide enough to protect the axle nut somewhat

I like spitfires image, I stopped getting them though, I would get flat spots same day I purchased, I’d be sounding like a motorcycle at the skatepark 😂, maybe it was the type of wheel I got 🤷🏽‍♂️, or maybe it was just a defected batch 🤷🏽‍♂️

100% best wheels out there, hard and grippy but won't feel too hard for street skating and won't flat spot. Spitfire nailed it with all the formula 4's.

As a Tablet wheel user that has struggle with the Treflips(Although I finally got the trick on how to do then with the Tablets), I was looking forward to this "review" when I saw the title and thumbnail. When you got to the skatepark where you tested this new wheels you are actually testing different surfaces than what you did with the Tablets video. So I can't take anything from this review as objective. You should have tested both the Tablets and the new wheels at that skatepark and then compare? Also the treflips on slick floor are much easier than on a basketball court that has rough ground.

Can't go past spitfires just find the shape you like they always feel the best

Whats up with skaters these days putting bearings in backwards?? You know they put a neoprene dust shield on bearings for a reason right?

Any wheel that has the axle and axle nut protruding beyond the face of the wheel is a GIMMICK 😮 and has been proven since the early 80s.... skateboarding is foolish and failed gimmicks of the past get reintroduced years later and then they become the norm 😂....this is the case right here 😮

Did you notice a delayed pop at first? What size tablets did you have and size of the radials? 🛹🤓
