Hi andrey, in my expierence it is just possible to make this job perfect, like nobody can see a difference , if you measure the gloss level. And then you have to adjust your clear coat to that level - Over the years this level will change … second you should avoid edges ,as you can not polish them away. We measured always the gloss level and painted always the whole part …. Have fun. , regards from Germany 😊 saw the vid now and the door looks good 😊 good also 😇PPG

Yes, you are right. How do you go about measuring correct gloss level? I know you have to do many spray out cars and adjust the matifying agent each time, takes a lot of time and material too

Hi andrey , check the internet and you will find a - gloss level meter.- maybe your PPG dealer knows more .spray out cards are very elaborate and costs intensive ,also not 100% correct. After your measurement you know the % of the gloss …. And you can mix accordingly your clear coat to get it perfect …. Mostly that’s important after a car is used… 3 years and elder …. One guy is making no maintence the next is washing his car always , one is parking inside his garage the next parks in the sun ☀️…..this gives various gloss, satin gloss results . For me the AMG s are more easy to re paint than BMW s and Ferrari s . Regards

Андрей, потрясающая работа. Все чётко сделал. 👏👏👏Очень нравится что показываешь как выезжаешь и бокса в целом что внутри шопа, интересный формат. Здорово что ты показываешь оборудование на котором работаешь и настройки по давлению воздуха. Я например не знал что на матовую краску можно наклеить матовую плёнку.

Я решил чуть-чуть сменить формат и очень рад что нравится 👍🏻. Плёнка называется stealth wrap, любую машину сделает матовую а если на матываю машину делаешь обычную плёнку она будет блестеть.

Should look great! Dont be afraid to hammer on the clear, for some reason you have to apply matte clear extra wet to get that even matte finish onces it dries. 👍🏻😄

Wow, this is some awesome work! No trace at all, looks just like the original. 👏 But gotta say, when it comes to that white Corvette, you can see the bumper has a slightly different shade than the rear fenders. It's plastic, so blending it without transitioning to adjacent parts is tricky, but still a bit annoying.

Thanks! The bumper paint on the sides is original, we only repaired and put paint on the middle of the bumper where the license plate plate goes, everything else was just clear coated. Clear coat does add a little yellow haze due to its natural yellowing tint, thats why white colors are often difficult to blend because the area where you just add clear gets yellower. I only put one coat of clear on the edges as well to minimize this from happening 😄👍🏻

I wish I had a painter like you at my place! Take a look at my Touareg's bumper. It seems like the bumper is a shade lighter. I believe the color was poorly matched, and it's simply too bright. Edit: Sorry, I can't add a photo in the comment 🤷‍♂️
