All kinds of boats in Jupiter, FL Palm Beach County transiting one of the most dangerous inlets in Florida. These boats can get themselves in trouble easily if they don't use the correct speed and choose the right lines at Jupiter Inlet. Some weekends there are more awesome boats going in and out of Jupiter Inlet than a boat show. This inlet is very simular to Haulover Inlet down in Miami, FL near Key Biscayne. Unfortunately, The boat you featured being towed is my favorite boat. I think it is the Robolo R200. I would prefer the Yamaha 200 power package. Very stable and quite affordable compared to many CC in its class. Thanks, great videos...............😎

No but those small aluminum boats were great! Back in the 60's as a kid at the Jersey Shore I had a 12' MFG aluminum boat. Maintenance free except to paint the bottom to keep it in the salt water all summer. I used it in Barnegat Bay and the ocean going through the rough inlet there. Up to about 3 miles out with a 6 HP Chrysler outboard. I was a teenage daredevil!

@@davemcguigan218 that's why I love my little boat. Except it's not painted. I need up having to reinforce the transom because I put a 20hp evenrude on it. Floats in 6 inches of water and basically maintenance free. I live in northern Mn so no need for a big boat

Dam that HCB just effortlessly flattened the inlet like it was nothing! Like you said it's nice to see someone run the dam boat like it was designed to be run, I saw a video on one of the other "inlet boat spotting" type channels of a guy stuffing the same boat on a day less rough than this!!! It blew my mind and irked the shit out of me at the same time and it only further drove home the old "more money than sense" quote! Let me also say Equally as impressive were some of the smaller CC's like the Bonadeo, Ocean Master, and Everglades just to name a few coming through as they should on step, bow high, and kicking ass! Anyways love the channel, Happy holidays and keep up the awesome content! It can't be easy with the all the stiff competition out there!

The commentary is nice, much better IMO than doing it as a voice-over too. That HCB went through the inlet like a lady, with absolutely zero F's given to the waves. My vote would go to the Invincible though, stable and clean run in. The one where you commented on no noticeable rolling _may_ have had a SeaKeeper running.

I own a 35 Hydrasport and 25 Skiff, been on many, many, many different boats (hint, it's my job). Not sure if you have laid an Intrepid on its side in a high-speed turn but it powers a tight U-Turn with great speed and stability. It is a very responsive hull at high-speed turns, not saying it is the best hull ever, my 35 vector is, but it does have a unique feel to it when it comes to turns.

Have you driven some tight turns in an intrepid? Not saying it is the best hulls ever, but I have enjoyed laying them on there side any chance I got.

@@RoughInlets I have a 39 midnight express cuddy the original deep v that customs used. It’s the same hull as the cigarette top gun deep v no steps. I have been on many boats in my days and man I can’t say I’ve been on a boat that can take a high speed turn as good as it. I can say I’ve only seen 2-3 boats that handle better in 5-6 ft seas at 40+ mph then it. Completely diff boat then the new ones they make from different company owners with different goals.

There is something to having the weight forward from the cuddy. That is a good running hull, hard to beat the old school deep vee with a little extra weight in the bow. Not the most fuel efficient but makes for a good ride in the rough stuff.

Just because you have the money to buy a boat doesn’t make anyone a captain! Watch them a couple of times you will get a better understanding of them. I saw a video of them being stopped by parks and wildlife, the boat was overloaded by ten and the smallest child had no PFD, the vessel was not registered and had zero safety equipment. He was stopped ordered to the dock and given multiple citations. He tried to play dumb!

if you havent ridden in an Intrepid, I can see that. Both the Intrepid and Everglades have amazing rides, total control, extremely solid hulls and can cut through really rough seas like nothing!
