I took up basketball to do my cardio and motivate me not to skip leg day, lost 25lbs and hit my first dunk after only 4 months of playing while going super hard with jump squats. Use Sams vids as part of a mental routine.

I’m not sure what the context behind your injuries are, but please focus on proper recovery before jumping back into training and learn from your injuries so you don’t get hurt again. Good luck to you brother!

I agree with the "maingaining" thing. I think it applies to the average person the most, because the average person is not fit, they will get in shape doing some exercise and some dieting in some time. For more advanced lifters of course bulking and cutting will be better once platoed. Just keep in mind to not gain too much fat, because if your cuts are really aggressive and you're not on PED's then you'll lose a ton of muscle mass instead of mostly fat

I know that carbs and protine are 4 calories a gram and fat is 9 calories but is that number exactly right, because does our body metabolise it at 4.000 calories per carb or is it more like 4.05 and we simplify it?

I wouldnt neglect any body part even if its better than other muscle groups on your frame. You can always make it better and I dont think its wise to skip shoulders or back - specially these body parts as you cant have too big delts or back..

I might be a lucky boy, but I walk a lot, and often in a hurry. I'll imagine I'm late for work and I gotta hustle to make it. But I'm feeling the burn in the calves. I have bigger more defined calves than most humans, and I feel thats due to car-avoidance. Use them legs, skateboarding or cycling to gym and back is just extra workout
