It was more than disappointing, it was a disgrace. This was the perfect opportunity to honour Stephen Hillenburg, satisfy hyped fans, and maybe even get some new viewers in the long run. But no, they went the cheap route. What a way to spit on Hillenburg's legacy and on the fans. They promised those kids Sweet Victory, but all I saw out there was... CHEAPY THE CHEAPSKATE!

The disrespect to Stephen Hillenburg, I'm very disappointed I don't even care about the game anymore but SpongeBob deserved more than this, the petition started for a reason to honor Steve after his passing but why did you have to do this to us NFL but at least we have a 5 second cameo that SpongeBob was involved since that counts for something right?
