What is the difference between the Swedish verbs Ställer, sätter and lägger?
Or Sätta, lägga, ställa?
The can all be translated to "put" but there are some differences you should know to improve your Swedish and put things the right way.

WARNING: Never, **ever** use the particle-verb _sätta på_ if the object is a living thing; Swedes will interpret that usage as a VERY RUDE equivalent of "have sex with".

We were discussing during our class that not every word in Swedish needs to be translated to English like for example IPhone-I telefon! 🤣😅 We get excited when we learn Swedish and want to translate every word to Swedish even if it is already similar to English! 😂🤣😅

Yes! Great use of "lägger". Just change to "bärbara" and "soffbordet" otherwise it was perfect.
