Our Jardine only sleep in her cage at night, but during the day she is on the cage and tree and ladders on the Veranda - fantastic bird for the whole family - she behaves differently towards each member. None of the male - female bonding thing you have with some of the other breeds. When the sun set, a couple of loud screeches indicating bedtime, same when the sun rises. Highly intelligent, Talker, but very quiet talker, if that makes sense? When she is bored, she will get off her cage. ( we have big cage for her to sleep in - it is on wheels) and come and look for us. She enjoys riding along when we go on hikes. Absolute clown. Cons - VERY powerful bite - you have to teach them from the get go that biting is out. Mine can and break open pecan nuts.

My Jardine can be very loud, especially when I'm not in the room with her. She wants to be out with me all the time.
