I have tried this. Good 1,500~2,000+ articles with relevant video(s) on the article. With little to no boost or help with Google for doing that.

There are some services that make videos of the highlights of a post or page using the headers. I bought an LTD on one once and it's helpful to get them done faster and still useful to readers.

Yes video does help keep people on a page longer, but Google also looks at bounce rate, which means you also need to have that visitor go to another page on the site before leaving. Video alone won't do a lot, and certainly won't get you backlinks (more than likely you will get those backlinks to your video on KZfaq, because you wouldn't serve a video from your own website which would just slow it down (bad for rankings). You also need to have the correct video schema in place, which 99% of people would not know how to add that, let alone even know what it is. So, simply adding a video will not increase your rankings on your website, but might help your video to show more in KZfaq search.

It's a looping clip that I don't want all the text showing up in the margins of the video when it comes from KZfaq. Know what I mean?
