Spent an unhealthy amount of time playing stealing creations back in 2008-2010. Was by far my favorite mini game and would love to see it in Osrs.

I loved Stealing Creation. Would love to see it come back. Honestly I hate mining so if I could do this for a few hours, get some pickaxes to make that less painful, I'd find that an even trade. Kind of like the Daeyalt essence. Spend some time not getting much / any xp to boost xp in another skill you dislike.

I would absolutely love to see this in OSRS. Really enjoyed the minigame.

Stealing creation was one of the best mini games jagex came out with imo. They should rework it into osrs maybe without the bonus xp rewards into something else and I think the community would vote it in.

Stealing Creation was ABSOlUTELY my most favorite minigame when I was a young noob. I remember after getting 94 mage, camping stealing creation for being able to use Ice Barrage for free (Barrages were expensive back then). As I got into clans, made more friends, and eventually got 80+ all stats, Max combat, etc, I have the fondest memories of getting full Tier-5 Trid gear and destroying groups of players (Blood barraging groups of 1 itemers always was a great battle), or just splitting a group of our clan in half and having an even match. I feel like High Level Dungeoneering, which was by FAR my favorite thing on RS in my final days before quitting at the time of EOC, shared many of the aspects that made stealing creation so much fun.

Stealing Creation used to be the battleground for the Jagex Clan Cup during that pre-EoC timeframe. I remember the clan I was in, B A Addicts, losing to the eventual champions in the semifinals.

I was a dumb kid when Stealing Creation was poppin’. That never stopped me from playing it though, running around like an idiot without knowing what to do. It was so much fun!

I loved SC, was my most played mini game in rs2. SC concept was very similar to dungeoneering in that you really needed a balanced account to maximize your usefulness in the game. Being a skiller meant that you were easy pray for a pker, and being a high combat account with low skills meant you had to beg others to make equipment for you and were always at risk of having your runes stolen. I remember that I always stored back up stacks of runes in my summoned familiar just in case my runes were stolen because my thieving level was fairly low when I played SC lol.

This needs to come to OSRS.

I remember I had pretty much an inexhaustible amount of SC points, and I used enough to get 99 mage. SC was the game that turned me from a casual into a skiller, and the reason I got 99 thieving. Eventually I learned instead of using magic, which I actually did for a long time because very few people had the thieving level required to even attempt to pickpocket me but that changed with time, I learned just use range because they can't steal the arrows in your quiver and just keep your items in the summon. This was my favorite mini game, pretty closely tied with conquest. I enjoyed soul wars but the issue was actually getting into a game, By the time I started playing the game, Castle wars was kind of old but I vaguely remember it, and then my third favorite was fist of gothic's at which I was sweaty boy. Ah, The butterflies in your stomach right as you see the game timer begin and you pop into the spawn and everyone's rushing to get out. Pour one out for pro cloud hopping strats. I think I pickpocketed five figures of runes one time off of someone, I know I pick pocketed almost 8,000 one time and it boggles my mind as to why anyone ever would have had that many on them. Wait now that I think of it, I think I pickpocketed something like 45,000 runes at one time, I'd forgotten about that. That was the game I got the highest score I ever got but I can't remember what it was. Then I remember the game got much harder when the ancient prayers came out and when they first came out they were beyond obnoxiously overpowered. At that point I pretty much gave up on the combat aspect of the game until they addressed it and I got some of my other skills up higher and just focused on earning enough points to get a tool IRG and then having fun with a tier 5 knife and pickpocketing.

Joining the Stealing Creation chats, working together and calling out locations and tiers, rushing to get as many points as you could. Good 'ol times. Enjoyed it even more than I did Fist of Guthix. To be young and explore RuneScape for the first time again...

This game was a huge part of my RS experience. It was the only reason why I got level 80 skills (an eventually for dungeoneering) Jagex had to pump some amazing content when the wildy was removed.

I remember when people still said "pwned" lol. Think someone typo'd owned one day as pwned since the P key is next to O and it just caught on.

You could remove all the rewards from Stealing Creation and I'd still play it a ton in osrs! It was my favorite minigame as well, second only to Barbarian Assault. Would absolutely love to see this minigame brought back!

Fist of Guthix was super popular also! And yes both should be in OSRS!

I would love to see Stealing Creation come to OSRS. I think they should have similar rewards but without the xp bonus. So a clay that you could mold into a tool and the other one you can mold into armor or weapon of either melee magic or ranged and had bonuses similar to t40 stats of equivalent weapon or armor.

No minigame in rs will ever top sc. For the years this minigame was active and popping, with many different prominent sc clans existing, I lost interest in every other aspect of the game and played this exclusively. I always hope that one day they will bring a minigame with this sort of format to the game. It really doesn't have to be the same aesthetically, as long as it is vaguely similar mechanically and has rewards just good enough to get people interested in the first place, this would no doubt be a monumental success and I would go back to playing this exclusively. Genuinely my fondest memories of the game over the years was stealing creation and it would be a dream come true for this masterpiece of a concept to come back in some way. Thanks for making a video on this, we can't ever give up on lobbying for this lol ❤

Give me stealing creatiooooooooonnnn. My all time favorite minigame. I played it back in the day so much, and not even for the rewards. It was so damn fun.

Hands down was my favorite minigame back in the day, instant like from me. Also, the sacred clay gear could be right clicked and changed to the other items in that category. The pick could be swapped to a harpoon, hatchet, and net iirc but its been years.

I would love to see a take on Stealing Creation in OSRS though honestly the rewards, game mechanics, and GRAY could use some work. I saw lots of people giving awesome suggestions for rewards so I'll skip that, instead I'll suggest mechanics/features! Private lobbies with customizable options E.G. number of resources, which skills appear, combat or specific combat styles, if fog appears, ect. Next I'd address the rest of the skills like burn down barriers with FM (faster than attacking it), just toss a plant gathering spot and call it farming, and slayer I suppose could replace summoning though instead of familiars you get monsters to defend your spawn (*discourage* spawn camping). Last can we please get a more enticing colour pallette? Like please, the game is fun, just ugly AF. I would be happier with an updated theme and color pallet with the same mechanics than more mechanics and the same dull colours. I know that sounds petty but if I want OG SC, RS3 has my back (yes I still think SC is horrid looking on rs3). TLDR; Gib OSRS pretty version of SC ples.

Stealing Creation was great fun, an excellent blend of PVP and Skilling-- something that anybody could play. Also, it was the only minigame at the time where you could use ancients for free. :) It did get a bit chaotic in the end sometimes when the other team got so powerful that they just camped outside the respawn room and had it all locked down with ice barrage. I would personally love to see it on OSRS, but I feel like it would need better rewards for the player base to find it "worth playing." People these days have a far different mindset compared to 2008-2012 when they were kids and only do content if it progresses their account in some way.

My most nostalgic memory was playing stealing creation listening to cold wind blows by eminem in 2010 when i was in middleschool. I remember crying before school because I went into the red clan wars portal and dying with full rune(g) because I skipped the warning. I would lose it if it came back I miss this game mode so much

I LOVED stealing creation. I would love to see it come to osrs. The rewards system needs to be different from the original though. I would like it to be a skilling alternative to NMZ or SWs. No need for sacred clay items, offer skilling bonus xp outfits for thieving and crafting or upgrades to already existing outfits like lumberjack and rogues armor...? Plenty of material to work with there, even extend it to prospectors and spirit angler. Thanks for reading if you do, I hope someone at Jagex reads this as well so that Stealing Creation makes a comeback to osrs!

SC would never pass a poll because of the 2x reward tools. Even though, overall, its still less exp per hour if you include the minigame time, but somehow the community still thinks this is exp/power creep and is unacceptable (???) I would love to see it in OSRS, but there would have to be new rewards. Make the rewards like Pest Control, but award skilling exp instead of combat. Or have a Sacred Clay Axe/Pick act as a tier 99 gathering item for X amount of uses.

This is just pure facts and I respect the upload. Other than pking, S C was the only fun thing to do on RS imo. people who never played it cant realize how much fun it actually was. It was like a Hunger Games type pvp with skilling included. Such a fun game especially around Christmas it had huge holiday feels

this was by far the best minigame...my clan placed 2nd in the finals of the 1st clan cup that used stealing creation as one of the championship for that. that would have been in 2010-2011? i dcd with less then a minute elft the final score was so close it actually would have been the difference between 1st and 2nd which to this day is crazy in my mind.

Honestly same I just loved it as a minigame so much. Exp rewards were good but it was more just to play the game, survive, and fight other teams.

Strongly agree, It was the absolute best minigame I've ever played in runescape. I want to see it in osrs but i'd rather the rewards be cosmetic/functional armors for pvp builds, pures, initate pures, zerkers, ect. and flat exp rewards and rolls for a new pet. I'd like to see a clay themed pet that you could earn morphs for.

The entire concept of the minigame was just really great. It played really well into all of RS's strengths and used a vast amount of features and skills in the game.

i'd love a minigame spotlight type of thing for osrs, with a sort of global "minigame pet" so there are always people playing for years to come, like how there will be for soul wars

Slayer could be a perfect alternative to summoning for OSRS for this minigame. Variants of the clay familiars could be found roaming the area, requiring a tier-dependant slayer level to kill. Once killed, they drop "Clay eggs" which have a "hatch" option and summon identical familiars to those in RS3 ... plus you can put a PVM element to the minigame, thus having all aspects of RS included .. PVP, Skilling, and PVM

I was a kid and a huge noob during the stealing creation days so I never knew what I was doing lol but I'd love the minigame in oldschool, maybe with a little twist even if they went that route

I missed this mini game so much. I was just a little kid and I was very low level but it was still so fun to me to beat the other team by gathering materials and staying alive. I got really good and patient at hiding in those fog bubbles😂

I always loved/hated how the weapons/armor were _literally made of a form of clay, _*_and our only option was something that looked like shit._* ...I mean, yeah, I didn't _hate_ any of the items the way I do those damn _beetle weapons_ from RS3, but come on, man.

i remember being 11 and using my sacred clay weaponary to train up to 50 strength so i could wield granite armor. my first real "members only" armor

I feel like I saw Jagex mention Stealing Creations recently. I'd love to play Stealing Creations again. I remember when I was a kid, I couldn't do any high-level stuff though. It would be awesome to try it again. It needs to be in the same spot in the Wilderness, and they should spread out Ferox or something. Have Clan Wars in the middle of nowhere in the Wilderness, it looked nicer

I had 99 fishing and my friend had 99 Mining and WC, we would team up and go destroy like full teams. One of the best minigames ever created

Has the climbing boot scandal been covered ? The one were a mod (I think) knew of a change to the climbing boots ahead of time and bought a ton before the update raised the price of them by like 30K%

When they added soul wars to osrs all I could think about was stealing creation or fist of guthix

My all time favorite minigame in rs history, would love to see it in OS. tbh minigame rewards should be universal, to an extent, there should of course be uniques like void from PC and so on but perhaps some of the rewards from things like nmz and SW could be shared with stealing creating. Perhaps stealing creation could have a few unique cosmetics or something.

Even if they nerfed the rewards so you get the same xp per hour as you did for both doing this then skilling it would be more than worth it. This was ACTUALLY FUN, as opposed to 3 ticking iron ore or some shit. If I could do this then go to motherlode mine with the clay pick and chill I'd love that.

I would love to see this in osrs. I loved it back in the day but my skills were always too low to do the higher tier skilling spots. Honestly, I can’t think of a reason they shouldn’t put this in besides the rewards but they could just rework rewards.

I'm a little late to this video but I would love for Stealing Creation to come to OSRS. Stealing Creation was by far my favorite mini game in RS. To be honest I couldn't even remember that these reward items gave double xp. I would be totally fine with them not giving bonus xp. Just the fact that the reward items are morphic on itself is good enough. I think making them degradeable is still important for that reason. Making them more expensive in terms of reward points is still okay with me. All in all I think this would make a great and fun addition to OSRS. Let's hope it happens some day.🤞

Loved this game, was a noob at the time around 70/80 combat but could still some games compete (was a pro at all), felt it was fairly balanced in team work

I played SC when it was on spotlight recently, and it was a lot of fun! I definitely played more fist of guthix and clean wars back in the day though, because I though SC was too confusing, because I was a major noob

I used to be a mod for the Stealing Creations FC. Its a great monogamy no doubt about that. One downside like all mini games is you have to wait until you have teams ready which can take forever

I’ve been saying this forever now, there’s no reason why jagex couldn’t implement mini games such as Stealing creation or even fists of guthix! They can integrate items/rewards for both med and high level players for all players, irons and regular. without worrying about power creep being an issue. Currently majority of skills are fucking afk anyway - updates like these promote community development and ultimately increase player base.

Stealing Creation and Fist of Guthix were 2 of my fav rs2 minigames and i would literally pay top £££ to see it come back to osrs! I feel like reviving old content like this and implementing it into the game would be in at least some ways easier for the osrs dev team to do in comparison to making say raids 3. They would needa change the rewards ofc but we, as a community, could figure that part out and vote. Like imagine being an old rs player, you're sitting on your phone, this advert just pops up and its *OSRS's Stealing Creation! Play Now* and you get flash backs to the days you used to rob all the g00fies shit in the last minutes of the game cuz u had 99 thieving and how hard they used to rage 😂😂😂 that would make any1 come back tbh

oh fuck yes yes yes yes!!!! stealing creations was easily the most fun i had playing runescape, i loved how much team cooperation mattered. from people depositing high tier weapons in the base, to people with construction making barriers around valuable resources or spots like altars,, and the combat, it was all really good. the rewards, while a bit OP, were great at making a minigame worth playing, it was a nice change of pace. 100% this is a minigame that should be in OSRS. hot take, i would rather had stealing creations before soul wars.

Memories

I have great memories of stealing creation and it would be cool in OSRS however I also remember the late game in each match would always result in 1 team having to hide in their base as the other team would be maxed with PvP equipment. I also think the rewards are too powerful for OSRS. I remember some trying to argue that the time in the minigame vs time skilling in the world but I never bought into it, especially since OSRS has tools like infernal and dragon. Perhaps they can have niche effects but not their original.

I loved stealing creations! I used to wake up early on Saturdays just to play it.
