I changed my tires for the winter season from 80-100-19" 50/50 dual sport tires to dirt bike front Kenda K760 Trakmaster II 70/100-19", rear 100/90-19". Top speed is reduced to 67 kph (41mph).
Acceleration test:
0 to 51.4 km/h (32mph) in 3 seconds.
For the sabvoton controller set up, I reduced to 1/3 the amps on the first half of the throttle. First because it was too powerful when I bring my bike upstairs on my ramps and to be able to make slow start without wheeleing all the time. 😃
I set the e-brake to 60 amps which provide about 80-85% of all the braking and 15-20% is the hydraulic sustem.
The flux weakening is set to 50 amps.
The motorcycle rims are 1.65" wide.
(summer): The tires are motorcycle tires 80/100-19"
80mm wide, 100mm high and 19" circonference.
(Winter): front Kenda K760 Trakmaster II 70/100-19", rear 100/90-19".
Disc brakes are 203mm.
The motor is a 5T with less top speed and more acceleration at the start compared to a 3T for exemple. Still the top speed I got was 75 km/h (47mph)

👋. I was going to order the 150 amp controller.... didthe 200 seem like better build quality ? ( I'll be ordering the qs205 smaller version of your motor too )

better build quality I don't know I never opened one and from the exterior they look the same. But there is a difinitly a difference in torque.

The fenders on Amazon and the lights/turn signal ca,e with the bike.

@@vernanflexx6079 Are you in the States? I just received the same lights/turn signal kit from them. I ordered it for my other bike but I just realised that all the wires are too shorts because my other bike is way longer. I'm in Canada.

How do you even know what you are buying on that website? For example, I click on a hub motor kit labeled 3000W, and there are 5 different product images of totally different hub motors ranging from a little 36v 500w motor to a qs273, and the only option is 1000W, instead of 3000W? I would totally buy from that website if it was clear what I'm buying, since the prices are so low.

You'll need to do more research and learn about the dofferent motor and power etc... and than when you better know what you want you have to communicate with them and asked them questions. Even though the whole process for me tokk maybe 3 months back and forth with them and watching more videos, reading more about motor etc.... before I felt confident enough and decided to order.

What size wheels you running? Is that a 19 rear? I want to know is the 19 21 setup better

@electricbikeretrovintage I see your point 😆 19s is a different set-up again. I'm Now thinking of the 5t. Is the salvation controller the Stoktock one? I love the ⅓ ah cut to stop wheelies

@@ModModRc I sold that bike last month. If I would buy another one I would go with a 4T instead of a 5T. Just to get a bit more top speed. Anyway the acceleration more than enough. I would choose a 21" front and 19" rear as well.

@electricbikeretrovintage after riding my mates 19s 3.5t, I thought "This won't do off road 35% slopes" iv the better Fardrive controller, says 5 levels of assist, I'll returne 1 so will over rpm for road & restrict off rd speed but turn acceleration/torque up

What's the top speed you got with a full charge in KPH ?

My motor is a 5T so the winding make it with more torque and acceleretion from the start and less top speed. With the dual sport 50/50 tires I get a top speed of 75 kph. With these off road tires 90/10, 69 kph. That's enough for me. With my other bike that has a 4T my top speed is 87 kph and I never ride at that speed anyway. It's all 30-40-50 kph Max zones around here so.

Binding. My motor is a 5T. More torque at start and less top speed. Contrary to a 3T or 3.5T that have less torque at start and more top speed. Anyway I sold this bike 3 months ago. If I buy another one I would choose a 4T.
