Several Years after the sinking of the Aladeen, You receive news that the British Nelson Class Battleship with 9 19" guns you purchased is on its way.
You also manage to salvage the Aladeen as it was sunk in shallow waters and made two more sensible light cruisers from it.
However, The enemy has also bought one more battleship from the Spanish and 2 more heavy cruisers from the Portuguese. Your objective is to sink the entire fleet and make sure the other island nations fleets does not dare to exit their ports.

4:25 Barbettes run down into the ship to add armor to each turret. They aren't always exposed.

Yeah, it is an armored housing for the gun to keep its insides safe and protected. HMS majestic was the first to carry the armored barrette in the 1890s and it became common place on most ships.

The rules of Aladeen design : 1 - Use as many guns as possible, for they sing the glory of the Glorious Leader, 2 - Your guns much fire each other in the back, or even better, through the main tower, so that no one dares defy the Glorious Leader's leadership onboard. 3 - The sheer number of guns have to impose dominace so much your ennemies will flee even if they are winning, for there shall not be winning against the Glorious Leader 4 - The ship shall not be able to move backwards, for anything that it hits will become the ship : islands, whales, or other ships alike ; for the Glorious Leader is merciful and will offer his foes a place in his empire (or more litteraly, below his fleet) 6 - Lastly, your ship shall not participate in a fair fight, for no fight is fair against the Glorious Leader.

The enemy BB-s suffered from lack of turret traverse. For a lot of the time they were heading away and the turrets could barely turn over 180 degrees.

Actually, I tested with and without the barbette and it actually does something even if you are not using any barbettes. Without that barbette option, ammo detonation like what Bismarck did to Hood would result in sinking. With the barbette option, especially to the max, I actually got two main guns blown off and I can still sail. Barely alive, but still fighting on.

@@tommeakin1732 I suppose the barbettes contain ammo detonations if and when they occur below deck, preventing the whole ship from splitting apart. Without them, the explosion would just carry out war throughout the whole ship, likely into other ammo rooms.

@@tommeakin1732 well, barbettes are meant to provide armor plating to protect the ammo stores of the main guns, which are often found below the guns themselves. It might not be perfect logic, but it makes sense to me.

I think that the 8 inch gun is so tall that it can just elevate the barrels above the secondary tower island and turn the turret even though its pretty much side to side

I remember that other battle. Despite the smaller guns you sank a CA, all the dd's, a CL, and badly damaged another CA, the BB, and a second CL. But those torp waves from the CL's did you in once you got close. Heck the enemy BB ran out of shells if I remember? You were very close to winning if not for those torp heavy CL's. Nice follow up though. Oh and the enemy BB was NOT listing. They merely had their ship angled in water to increase the chance of richochets off their deck lol

I believe the game counts barbette armor as the armor of the shaft from the ammo storage to the firing piece. As such, all primary and wing turrets(and maybe 6-8 in secondaries) will be affected both by the modifier and weight. Think of the armor breakdown on World of Warahips when you only look at the turret armor.

Barbette armor extends well below the deck. Every Turret is on a Barbette, it's just encased below the upper deck. That is where the armor is going.

Their BB's had maximum barbette armour, yet Glorious leader penned the barbette at the beginning with a 8" shell and destroying the turret.

You know that barbette is basically the armor around the turret construction? Not just about the ability to have an elevated turret for superfiring setup. Even if you don't see it, the turret always has a barbette. So that's why when you select different barbette upgrade, it still affects your ship.

He would have also lessened his loaded displacement as he fires more shells, making his ship faster and able to be more aggressive.

The French BB hulls are very buggy. If I'm not mistaken they might have accidentally coded alot of the snapping points (including the Main/Secondary tower) into the "AA" category intended so that "AA" guns don't block the firing arcs of more important armaments. Can even get main-cailbre side guns to shoot through the main tower itself. I think you can also place turrets inbetween the tower and the built-in barbette that will ignore the main tower also if I remember.

Barbette armor encases the inner workings of the turret. IE the powder and shell handling rooms that access the magazines and lifts. As you can imagine having armor in these areas is critical regardless of whether or not they extend above the main deck.

To use the reverse, you need to keep the throttle up, for example, if you click reverse whilst reducing your throttle to zero, you basically said your engine to go into reverse but not use any power. But if you keep your throttle up, your ship will put power into reversing

The main guns might have no shells left to shoot with, but tons of propellant left over so a flash fire is still possible

I think the 3x4“ seem bugged, because they're dual purpose guns. They can shoot "through" the side guns, because they're theoretically shooting up and over.

I find those 4-inch guns kind of like very restricted casemates that can blow off the ship. Also, I think it would've been great PR if you just let the CL's run to the San Esteban. Sure, it's not the best match up, but if the lights won, it would show that that nation's Navy isn't even good enough to have the honor of being finished off by the Glorious Leader

Every turret is placed on a barbette, otherwise it wouldn't be able to rotate even tanks have a turrets traverse mechanism, which has a shape similar to barbette, although shorter and has no armor within hull.

secondaries is 8 dual barrel 4 inchs guns from port side and starboard side and has modern tower 4 sceond tower 3 all or nothing armour and citadel 3 nd barrbet 3 armour

Stealth17 Gaming; and, the other TASKMASTER KZfaqrs I have watched a lot of ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS Videos starting about a year ago, I think. I don't keep track of such things. Stealth17 Gaming was my First ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS KZfaqr; and, my only Subscribed ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS KZfaqr; and, it the one that I watched the most. I believe that I have watched most, if not all, of the Pre-Version Naval Academy Mission Videos; which, included Version 2 and some Pre-Version 9s and Version 9 and the New Version 10. I am confident that I am pretty sure how ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS work as a Game System; although, when I do purchase the Game System, and read the Text Document Tutorial Guide, there will be a few surprises. Recently, I have been finding myself falling asleep while watching the Battle Portions of your Videos (all of the TASKMASTER KZfaqrs); because, I find them very boring. I do like ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS as a Game System; and, will be purchasing it once my PC Laptop is ready for Internet Activity. However, I will no longer be making Comments on the ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS Videos; and, I will be less inclined in watching your ULTIMATE ADMIRAL: DREADNOUGHTS Videos (all TASKMASTER KZfaqrs).

I feel like we need an Almighty Aladeen class Super Battleship with a MUCH bigger hull. All the other nations will laugh at poor Aladeen for only having 88,000 Tons of displacement.
