Hey stealth, in my research into naval history mostly around ww2 i've come across a part about the Dutch designing a battlecruiser concept with the help of the Germans for colonial defence against the Japanese, would you consider doing a design for something like that?

I would love to see the next vignette be from the Americans. Realizing that the BB is not dead, they cancel orders on carriers and instead focus on the completion of the Alaska class cruisers and Montana class battleships already in progress. This is there last ditch gasp in order to cancel japans superior heavy firepower at this point in the war, with Australia at its knees

someone already mentioned the Izumo battleship but a fun fact about that ship is it was an experimental battleship design that like the A-150 never made it to the construction phase. The gun layout on this ship is hilarious.

7:10, your guns can shoot forward, there appears to be a clipping issue with the turret gun arc and hull.

Stealth, I think the logic with cruisers, battlecruisers, and battleships laying smoke screens in a division with light cruisers or destroyers is that said ships are laying a smokescreen for the larger capital ships.

20-24 inch twins were possible but triples i doubt it quads unrealistic the weight of the machinery. which is why all plans for 20 inch guns were always in twins with 6-8 guns the maximum were as you could fit 12 18 inch 50 cal guns on a realistic ship

My one question is I always see you turn off torpedoes and usually lose the ships with full ammo why not just put them on save instead of normal so atleast you use them

I turn them off because I want to have them available immediately for close range actions. And yes, that does lead to waste usually.

Won't work, the turrets are 8700 tons each. Seven of them would be 61k tons, you wouldn't have the weight to do so

Having played with them a few times I really dislike the 20" guns. The great penetration just doesn't make up for the abysmal accuracy and the incredible weight of the turrets. I think 18" is probably the sweet spot for an uber BB at the moment.

I think for'd offset means you try to be a submarine, aft offset means you're a surfboard.
