The Pittsburgh Steelers have to like what they are starting to see out of rookie Keeanu Benton. In limited snaps, Benton is making big plays in the run and pass game for the Steelers. Keeanu Benton is looking like the final piece that the Pittsburgh Steelers defense has been looking for.

Even at @7:10 You can see how he jumps over TJ Watt who is on the floor. This guy is massive and is somehow very agile and quick on his feet. You see that on the 1st play as well, someone this size should not be able to do a swim move that fast and chase down this fast. Potentially a 1st rd talent right here. Dude looks like a top 20ish type of DL and maybe even a top 10 in the future. ROOKIE BTW

I want to see the DL with Cam, Benton and Larry O. They should be a very stout front. Benton will get a bit stronger from his rookie season into next season.

Man, Benton doesent even always hve great technique and is still just throwing these dudes around, if he gets his hands on u, u probably lose. He could be a special one

He’s kinda similar to Broderick in that way. He’s still quite raw, but the physical traits are undeniable. If he continues to improve his technique, he’ll be scary good.

What's exiting me about him is that he has the ability to learn from cam so that when he decides to hang it up Benton is able to become a leader on this D-line

Yeah Benton is definitely the HEIR APPARENT to Heyward and frankly I think the Steelers are JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER with Benton in there ! love Heyward and definitely want to see him return but I just don't know if he can be the force HE ONCE WAS - especially coming back now off this injury . Benton WIIL BE a dominant force - he actually reminds me of Joe Greene with the PURE STRENGTH he has !

@VERITASnpg ANYBODY can stick their hands in the air - that isn't exactly a SPECIAL TALENT ! Benton is THE FUTURE and should be playing FULL TIME at least until Heyward gets back .

@@thebambino4728 I beg to differ on not being a special talent. Cam has this knack for knocking down passes while maintaining his gap and putting pressure on the QB. Those can't just put your hand up at anytime but the timing of it makes it harder for teams to hit those crossing routes that we can't seem to cover these.

Benton’s best asset is the move he has that might not be so noticeable. He plants his foot in the ground on one side and uses that wide out stutter step juke to the opposite side that he is going. Yes a simple move but really effective when used with speed. Really hard to defend it once a linemen is trying to get his base underneath him on pass downs to handle the rush.

At the 12:00 minute mark, Benton is getting held more than just a little bit. The guard has his hand around the back of the shoulder pads and has Benton's right arm trapped inside. Its almost impossible for him to shed to the right and make a play when he's being held like that.

Where do you get your film and how do you watch it? I’ve tried to use NFL+ all-22 but it’s one long video so reviewing 1 play is hella tough.

Great video, but just a bit of a tip. It sounds like you're recording this on a zoom call, the audio cuts out here and there. If you record your audio locally and then match it to the video in the edit you'll have a much better product.
