I think Stef was referring to the press conference where Novak forgot about Stefanos making the RG final. That's why Stefanos acted like he didn't know that Novak had made the final 9 times in Melbourne.

A small country? Greece!? Maybe it's just me, but the size of a country is not measured by square kilometers, but by the number of great people (among other things, of course). Yes, one can feel the sense arrogance coming out of him. Note how he avoided mentioning Novak´s name in this interview. He just called Novak " *a player who played 9 or 10 finals here* ".

I sincerely wish him the best- he will need it to stand a chance! I can’t help be drawn to his energy and demeanor, he seems to be at his best so far in his young career, and I’m fortunate to be able to see it unfurl live. That being said, I can’t believe Novak’s performance this year, truly. Congrats to both finalists!
