I'm running the same setup (WF Vanes and Wraps) but on Victory RIP TKO'S. Best arrow setup I've ran in 26 years 👌. Great video and I love your products! Wish u the best brother 🤜

On the vane gluing all you need is 91% alcohol and gorilla brand " instant" adhesive. Wipe vane base and arrow. Works on just about every brand vane. Hardly ever loose a vane.

As far as installing point inserts I use the Bohning low temperature melt blue colored “ hot melt?” The inside of the shaft needs to cleaned of carbon dust after cutting to length. As an added benefit I use200 grit wet or dry sand paper on the inserts to clean off any materials from manufacturing. For those that want to clock the broadheads with vanes during insert installation or AFTER the hot melt will let you rotate the insert before it cools and sets. I have very seldom lost an insert. I have many times carefully heated an arrow with the hot melt used and easily turned the broadheads to the clocked position I wanted. It is not rocket science just don’t over heat the carbon. You can heat the broadheads until the hot melt gets warm enough to rotate.

I leave the nocks off when installing insersts because the the compressed air inside the shaft can push them out enough to where you field tips and broadheads dont sit flush

Nocks on last is what I do. The reason is better getting a starting point for nock turning by putting them on last.

Watched you pull and push your nock but never talk about spine alignment arrows may have consistent weight but how you you know if they all aligned equal do you nock tune after fletching or before or did you use a spine tester or old school float in bathtub?

I started using the easy vanes a while back. I don't have to do any wraps and Fletching jigs or anything like that anymore. Got a discount with the code "10% + 2 free Vanes" .

@@thistledewoutdoors3331 No sir, pressure fit. You can glue them on too as the victory ICE coating makes them slide a little. They just slide over the shaft and you're done. If you glue them you just pull them back a little put a small dab and slide it back down and done. Takes 5 seconds to fletch.

Love the video. I’m getting ready to try and build my own arrows myself. Was wondering what degree helical you run. Also I’ll be running a 100gr Ramcat Hydro Shock as my broadhead. What’s your thoughts on a 3 or 4 vane? Will be using you Pink WF vanes. Using Axis 340 29” at 60pds. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for the videos.

I've got arrows that are 15 years old that I shoot as practice arrows for sighting in a new setup... They're bad when you slightly bend the arrow and roll them in your fingers and you can hear the carbon crackling....

It would be so much better without the background music. It’s very distracting and sounds like the beginning to a 80’s porn video. Other then that I love your content.
