If you are a victim of domestic abuse, please reach out to someone for help. Please call the national domestic abuse hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE. That’s 1-800-799-7233 or go to thehotline.org to chat with someone online. The great thing about this website is that, at any time, hitting the escape key twice will instantly take your browser to a google search page. In the event the abuser is nearby, you can ensure that you don’t get caught trying to get help.
If you are having feelings of harming yourself or someone else or even just need someone to talk to, please contact your local mental health facility, call 911 or call Mental Health America who operate the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK. That’s 1-800-273-8255. They’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

@SuperNuclearUnicorn

@@chazzbranigaan9354 I understand that there can be a bias against men in divorce court, but in literally every other case there's this belief that a father being absent due to work is fine while the mother being absent for the same reason isn't. Shit, I grew up in that exact situation where my dad would be away for a week or more, but when mum would have to go away for work my dad would make me call mum to say how much I missed her to make her feel bad. Fortunately they've both discussed that and moved on from it. I understand you want to press your agenda of men being hard done by, but we have it pretty easy most of the time

@@philipsmi-lenguyen8155 I really hope you're only saying that divorce court is unfair to men, because other than that we live in an exceptionally patriarchal society. As men we hardly have reasons to complain and if you think men have it hard you're delusional. Can you walk to your car at night without being scared you're going to be attacked or raped? No? That's an advantage men have. When you apply for a job and have an interview are you worried you won't be "hot" enough for the job? No? Another advantage. Us guys have it pretty easy outside of very specific situations and is pisses me off when men complain how hard it is to be a dude. In dating a man's greatest fear is that we'll be rejected and laughed at. A woman's greatest fear is that they'll be raped and killed

I can never and will never understand for the life of me why on Earth a woman would ever marry or have children with some loser that isn't doing anything to better themselves in the least, OR providing financially... like what on Earth is that dead weight bringing to your life that is positive? Absolutely nothing. Why on Earth would anyone pay for someone like that to have a vehicle or a roof over their head and food to eat when they do absolutely nothing. That is just ridiculous. I'm not trying to be insulting at all, but there are far and I mean far too many women that are raised with absolutely no self-respect whatsoever. As women, we are never taught how we deserve to be treated, what is acceptable when it comes to men and their behaviors and lifestyles, and most of all we are never taught to respect ourselves and our own bodies and not to sleep with losers that have done absolutely nothing for us, losers that haven't even committed to us with marriage. There is a reason why most marriages end in divorce these days, it's because everyone is doing everything backwards like having the child first and getting married last when you shouldn't even be sleeping with them until you are married to begin with. Women were certainly respected and treated a lot better back then when men actually had to be a good person, be financially stable, and actually commit before they would even think of having a woman lay down with them. Nowadays, with women giving them a place to live, sleeping with them, and doing everything else Under the Sun- why would they bother committing? they already have everything that a marriage used to bring without the marriage at all, so there is no respect there because it was never earned. It's really sad.

I find it so weird how often in these true crime stories that the corpse is dismembered. Can anyone actually imagine doing that? Think about it - not just killing someone, which is hard enough to imagine but doing anything at all with the body other than covering it? I wouldn't want to be in the same room with a dead body, let alone cutting it apart! And yet it's so common!! My mind can't make sense out of that.

I saw psychopath Grant one of the nights he was on the stony creek metropark property. It was a night in late February 2007, I was driving home after picking up my son from his dads. It was really late, around 1 AM (because Our store didn’t close till midnight), and I took a different road home. It’s a road that is owned by stony Creek Metropark it also has no houses on it. So nobody should be walking on that road especially at 1 AM. I had lived there my entire life and never saw a person walk on that road after dark. It is miles of dirt road, called Inwood. Usually if I took that road home at night (very very rare) I would not pass another vehicle. As I was driving home, I saw a man struggling with trash bags, and after I heard about Stephen Grant I called the police. They even had to search behind our fence line because that was also stony Creek Metropark’s land. I will never forget seeing him walking down that road and him looking dead in my eyes, knowing that somebody saw him. He & his wife were my customers at my video store in Washington, MI at 30 mile and VanDyke, which has not been there since 2010. Edit: I also was a volunteer at the octagon house for four years and did tours and field trips

Far too often when winners marry narcissistic losers, it's the winner who ends up dead. Those poor kids lost the only parent worth having. It's a good thing they won't have to grow up being raised by the other one.

Don’t know if I’m a winner, but my unemployed illegal immigrant husband was poisoning me for my life insurance. Thankfully I got out with my life (but without my life-savings). He was unemployed and I’m gainfully employed.

I will never understand how someone marries a person, have children with them, kill them, cut up the body, move the body around, and then expect to be treated with respect... Just baffling 🤔🙄🤷🏽‍♀️

I think he was just a liar. Every atheist I know is obsessed with philosophy, morality, and the golden rule, of treating others how you want to be treated. Largely because people who actually identify openly as atheist (instead of agnostic or leaving it unlabeled) are usually people who take issue with hypocrisy in the church, or ethical issues in organized religion at large, which isn't entirely unfounded. This dude just seemed like a liar and a sociopath, doing and saying anything he wanted to get anything and everything he wanted. You offer him a six figure salary to be a mega church priest, and he'd be screaming about sinners to the audience within 24 hours. Just an empty hollow shell of a human slithering anywhere that feels good.

@888 wow. Self-righteousness is a sin. I'm an athiest and I have been good to people my entire life heck I save people's lives for my day job. I was abused and beaten by my religious mother in the name of God my entire childhood. If God exists I condemn him to Hell for his indifference to human suffering. Time to wake up mate

Wow. You get more information about a case in these documentaries than in most true crime. Most videos, and even books, about crime spend a third (or more) of the time rephrasing or repeating the same damn thing. Thanks for your good work. And I love your main title.

I currently live in Shelby Township but lived in sterling Heights at the time this happened and it was one of the wildest things that I've heard of for our area at least. Every time we go to stoney she crosses my mind. This is one of those events from your hometown you never forget.

Hold up. So this guy murders his wife. Dumps her cut up body in a park. Gets spooked when the park was getting searched. So he retrieves parts of her body and BRINGS IT BACK TO HIS HOUSE???? The one place where if found he would essentially be caught red handed? Of all the other places to move the body again his house was best place he could think of? Thank god some of these killers aren't the brightest at their craft.

This was one of the biggest murder trials in Michigan at the time. I even knew right where they lived. Some of my friends' younger siblings went to the same high school he did. But I sure remember when this happened. I used to go to Stoney Creek all the time as a teen and still drive by it often. I used to take my sons there when they were little for some of the trails. As soon as I saw his picture, I remember some of the talk being about his bug eyed look, and it's still creepy. You did a GREAT job with this story and your snide remarks while describing this monster were fantastic! I love the messages about DV and suicide hotlines. It's very important to have that information, so I appreciate that very much. Looking forward to your next video!

The WORST part in these cases is that the kids effectively lose BOTH PARENTS. (One dead, one usually in jail). Ironically the murder is OFTEN to ensure one partner DOES NOT get custody. So unless there are grandparents who are WILLING AND ABLE to take the grandchildren, the children will COMPLETELY lose out and could even be split up. So much for having adults in the room.

There must be an overwhelming feeling of guilt if your child murders somebody, let alone your grandchildren’s mother. Very sad.
