Well, WHO better woukd know what it's like to sing for Journey? The constant touring is SO hard on the voice- Steve paid Arnel a great compliment! Steve Perry's is STILL AWESOME, and MUCH lived by us Journey fans❤.. Arnel has kept the music alive, and though it can't be easy for him, he carries on! I hope he can keep it up!💗

If some people say that there will never be another Steve Perry. Yes because it will be a Fake one if someone says that he is Steve Perry other than him. Same way that there will never be another Arnel Pineda. 🤯. Nobody can copy Arnel Pineda who can sing in other tunes outside Journey like Led Zeppelin, Toto, Bryan Adams, Peter Cetera.

Perry is a classic and a class act! He was fantastic and I am glad that I grew up listening to Journey when I was in my early twenties! It was a wonderful and fantastic journey of life to be there and experience them, along with all of the other bands from the 70's through the 80's!

No band is more active than journey. Their songs are hard to sing. Imagine doing that for 15 years. Sadly, they found Arnel too late. He's already in his 40's when they found him. It's a miracle that he can still sing and perform at the original key.

Not surprising at all. Arnel Pineda is a GREAT vocalist and Steve Perry is not only a true gentleman but he knows greatness in a vocalist when he hears it and is honestly willing to give credit where credit is due. My hat’s off to the both of them. By the way, just to be clear, as great as Pineda is with his vocals, Perry is better. Steve Perry is the Grandmaster of vocalists to whom all others aspire. I can only imagine the honor and feeling of having one’s singing talent complimented by the likes of Steve Perry!

He's not lying about Arnel, me and my girlfriend seen them with toto in Lexington kentucky on valentines day and he was losing his voice. Still he went on and started singing harder than normal. I think we would all rather have Steve Perry back, but if we had to have anyone other than Steve, I don't think anyone in the world could have chosen a better singer than Arnel Pineda

Think about what Steve Perry says Arnel Pineda sing Every night,Who's singer can do that that can maintain hes/her vocal.Arnel is 54 now and 15 years as lead singer in the Band.and now still rocking in their Freedom tour.AP is always ready if Neal fired him.

In reality Steve cant sing for journey anymore, he is old and if he does he can sing for 2gigs and burn out. Arnels Job for 15 years is a miracle.

Arnel Pineda is the most awesome dude that can fit the golden shoe left by Steve Perry..lots of haters will say they don’t like Arnel maybe because he is Asian, but come one dude…of course he cannot totally sound like the original Steve but he can certainly positively do the Job well…

Steve's voice is already a tenor. Arnel is great for having done training his voice the way he should sing a piece. It's the educated voice that can do that.
