In Poland queen is also a male piece (idk how to translate hetman to neglish... marshall? Idk really). I mean in official chess naming, coloquially it is a queen too.

Caruana makes a 1300 player move. He does that quite often too. I wonder how he maintains his 2782 lol.

And he have 2801 now. lol

pretty much the difference between an applied knowledge vs raw talent. talent is consistent whilst knowledge can falter. that is not to say that Caruana is talentless (which is profoundly untrue) but maybe he lacks the pizzazz other players (naka, kamsky and of course magnus) have. that according to just myself is why he's the worst superGM in blitz as it takes him way more time to analyse a position others may assess istinctively

Usually his 1300-player move is 1.e4, which turns out to be OK. ;)

Dear St Louis Chess Club, when you say lecture for Intermediate or Advanced, what would be a rough Elo range distinction between the two? Thank you
@KARTIKEYA0073 жыл бұрын
I think advanced is 1800+
@andrewjmschroeder2 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing that Intermediate is 1300 or 1400-1800.
